Nintendo Land has just been announced for the Wii U, and is to the Wii U what Wii Sports was to the original Wii. It features a virtual Nintendo theme park with mini games that resemble many of the franchises, including Zelda, Luigi’s Ghost Mansion, and 10 other mini games. The mini games include many of the shown at E3 2011, including a throwing star game. Luigi’s Ghost Mansion was showcased where the GamePad player controlled a ghost while the other 4 players are tasked with finding the ghost and shining the light on the ghost. Nintendo Land will be a Wii U launch title.
The game supports up to 5 players, with one player using the GamePad, while the other 4 use the regular Wiimotes. Nintendo Land is fully compatible with Miiverse.
