As expected, Pikmin 3 is coming to the Wii U, as Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto just took the stage at the E3 show and unveiled the first gameplay footage and details. Pikmin 3 will be in full HD on the Wii U, and will be playable with the Wiimote and the Wii U GamePad as well. This time, it won’t just be Captain Olimar as the main character, in Pikmin 3, there will be 4 heroes and they will be playable at the same time and will manage and lead Pikmins throughout the maps and levels. Pikmin 3 features the same colorful visuals as earlier games, this time, it’s in full HD, and all Pikmins will be individually animated, as Miyamoto pointed out.
