Developer High Motion Studios recently revealed their latest title: Deadpool. Based on the Marvel Comics character, Deadpool is a third person shooter published by Activision, and set for release in 2013.
During a discussion panel at Comic-Con, Deadpool producer Pierre Leroux was asked about whether the game will be released on the Wii U, to which he replied it would. However, a few days later he said that he was actually referring to Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth, which will be coming to the Wii U. Activision has commented on the situation as well, saying that the upcoming Deadpool game hasn’t been announced for any specific platforms yet.
Which of course doesn’t rule out the possibility of seeing Deadpool on the Wii U in 2013. Activision is so far supporting the Wii U with several titles, including Call of Duty Black Ops 2, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Skylanders: Giants.
