THQ’s Darksiders 2 has just been released on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and the game has been well received by the press and gamers. Now, they’ve released the official Darksiders 2 Wii U box art, which is nearly identical to what we’ve seen for other platforms. Only tailored to fit the new Wii U box designs, of course.
Darksiders 2 and its developer Vigil Games have been quite a lot in the media lately, and not always for positive reasons. Last week, a former Darksiders 2 developer bashed the Wii U and his former company, calling the Wii U “a joke”. While Darksiders 2 is a Wii U launch title, THQ has yet to reveal any Wii U specific details. All we have so far are a few hints on how the GamePad will be used, with Vigil Games opting to use the touchscreen for inventory management.
For now, all we have is the official box art below (and some screenshots of the game).
