New screenshots of the Wii U arcade farming simulator Funky Barn.

Funky Barn is an arcade “farming simulator” for the Wii U, and is very much inspired by games such as Animal Crossing and FarmVille. It’s an open-ended sandbox game where players construct their own farm, manage animals, machinery, harvest, and more, all via the Wii U GamePad controller. Developer Tantalus has released the first screenshots of the game, showing us a closer look at at some of the features and gameplay. Funky Barn will be released in late 2012 on the Wii U.

    Very few games will be native 1080p if thats what you mean. Almost all will be 720p then upscaled, the wiiu is not powerful enough to render games like tekken, ac3 and batman at native fullhd…

      I think the wiiu is powerfull enough to render any of its launch games in 1080p native . But its just launching now , which means developers have like a year to make the games.

  There will always be games like this for any console. Some people will be interested in it, but most won’t. But the simple fact that this site gave more information on it is now making you consider not getting the Wii U? I didn’t see anyone refuse to buy an Xbox because Kinectimals existed. You really can’t blame WiiUdaily, they’re trying their hardest to bring us news every single day, but there just aren’t that many stories right now.

sorry but this game looks like those stupid games on Facebook. This is the type of game that Dronys and Xbots will use against us to call it a casual console (though in their hearts they’ll want it more than anything-lol)). It looks wierdly cool, but also kinda gay (kinda like the Wonderful 101- but W101 looks cooler). sorry if u want this game, but this is just my opinion

Best looking game ever. A must buy! Can’t wait to buy this game. Hope it has a premium package, maybe comes with a farm animal controller? I’d pay easily $100 for it! ooooh yeah, I love me some farm animals.

It’s just a straight port of the 3DS version except it’s in HD instead of 3D this will probably happen alot this gen so just like Monster Hunter Ultimate so you can take your game with you where ever you go but on the down side you’ll end up buying the same game twice.
