After many months of rumor, EA has confirmed that the upcoming racing game Need For Speed Most Wanted will be coming to the Wii U in 2013. The game is scheduled for release on the PS3, Xbox 360, and other platforms next week, while Wii U gamers will have to wait a few more months before getting their hands on the arcade racer.
Need For Speed Most Wanted is a sandbox style racing game where players cruise in a large city and look for races. It’s developed by Criterion Games, known for the Burnout series. Need For Speed Most Wanted has a lot in common with Burnout, mainly its sandbox style racing, the addition of cops to the races, and a focus on arcade style racing and events.
No further information about the game or Wii U specific features were revealed.
