FIFA 13 launch trailer showcases the Wii U specific features.

EA is bringing its two biggest sports franchises to the Wii U: Madden NFL 13 and FIFA 13. The latter just got an official Wii U launch trailer, showcasing the Wii U exclusive features and how the GamePad controller will be used. EA Sports revealed a few months ago that FIFA 13 on the Wii U will be the superior version, with improved graphics due to Wii U’s more modern hardware.       THEY DID! THEY JUST DIDN’T ADD THE NEW FIRST TOUCH AND A COUPLE OF OTHER MINOR THINGS. BUT GUESS WHAT ? THE IMPROVED GRAPHICS AND SLEW OF WIIU EXCLUSIVE FEATURES SURELY MAKE UP FOR THAT RIGHT ?
      AFTER ALL THIS IS A LAUNCH TITLE WHICH HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WITH MAJOR TIME CONSTRAINTS, A CONCRETE FOUNDATION FOR FUTURE WIIU FIFA’S IF YOU WILL.

        EA specifically stated the new physics engine would not be on the wii u version. im not hating i just think that since the wii u is more powerful, they easily could have put in the physics engine, especially because its a port. kind of.

          I think that’s for Madden actually, the team that was working on Fifa said some time ago that they were able to raise or bring in the physics engine which was in line with the PS3 and Xbox 360 version.

          You’re speaking about madden. Madden doesn’t sell as much as fifa due to only being liked in USA so it probably has a smaller budget than fifa13 wiiu.

          Fifa 13 wiiu looks great like an 8/10 :)

        Again other game really looks good,especially with the tactics on the gamepad.I can’t belive it I don’t have to pause game again all I have to do is look at gamepad lol who’s idea was that cause that’s what you call brilliant.

      I would honestly say not to. I completely regret selling one of my consoles back in the day. I’m sure you have some games you enjoy on your 360, and for that reason alone you should just keep your Xbox. You never know what you’re going to want to play in the future. Heck, I still play my playstation one games and a few SNES games.

        I know but I only needed my xbox for fifa, just because you need high graphics for it. The reason I want to sell it is because you need to pay to play online. I pay for internet, I buy the console and I buy the game, I think that is enough to play online with friends.

      So extremely jealous! Can’t wait to play ZombiU from start to finish in one sitting (wishfull) and NSMBU with some friends and family !

    I hope future sports game launches will have the support for 2 gamepads. I want to get this so bad but I will feel bad that during a multiplayer session at my house only 1 person can have the gamepad. Sports games are the perfect genre of game that can use the functionality of two gamepads. It would just take the fun and kick it up a notch. The gameplay possibilities are absolutely exciting!

    No thank you it looks pretty but when you an nail a soccer game that plays as good as FIFA but has specials like Mario strikers come talk to me Infact once EA makes more entertaining sports game come talk to me … Like if I wanted to watch 2 teams struggle scoring for 90mins I would send my friends to the bar and that joke I based off football or madden the most entertaining sport … So instead of giving us realistic games that get boring how about EA focus on making a kick ass fantasy sport game … Like screw physics make a sports game where physics is the last god damn thing restricting you from 5 spins into flaming kick that breaks into 3 balls each causing an explosion throw in some ninjas robots and pirates who said players needed to be players

    *sigh* When will Fake Gamers learn the Wii U does, what Wii U does. Revolutionize gaming, the first to add a screen to continue gaming or to have a great experience with family to play with, interact with friends or other people on miiverse and blah, blah, blah. It just goes on.

    I’m starting to have pity on gamers thinking, “Maturity is the best way of gaming!” or “Nah, the graphics are weak, the game must be boring…” I’m sure a lot of you know that, but-y’know what I mean. It’s…just so pitiful.

    I’ve never been into sports games, but this has a fee reasons which names IT interesting.
    1) Great video and graphics imo, one of the best looking so far on the wiiu games.
    2) Awesome controls and tactics etc through the game pad.
    3) Love the music playing at this video.

    Might actually want it… …me even I hardly ever play sports games. :)
