A bunch of new screenshots from Nintendo of Japan show off Miiverse, Wii U Chat, the browser, and much more.

Nintendo has released a bunch of screenshots on its Japanese site, showing off many of Wii U’s social features. There’s lots of screenshots showing how Miiverse works, how the new Wii U Chat works, screenshots of the browser, and more. The Wii U launches in just a few days, and most of these features will be available via a day-one download from Nintendo.

  Definitely. The Wii U will be a monster of a console and you guys in the USA only have 2 more sleeps until you get yours! So jealous right now… We Brits have got another 15 days until our launch and I can’t frickin’ wait!!! The Wii U won’t fail to grab attention from all gamers around the world, whether they invest in one or not all depends on their own personal ‘fanboyisms’. All the haters out there can GTFO. They’re the ones who will be missing out on one of the greatest consoles ever made. I don’t know about you guys, but I’d rather spend £300 on an awesome new Nintendo console now than spend £500+ on a PS4/720. No doubt they will be powerful, but fun? Time will tell… The Wii U however is right around the corner and the selection of launch games is beyond EPIC!!! My body is 1000% ready!!!!!! BRING ON THE WII U!!!!!!

Do u have to pause a game then hit the home button, or u just hit the home button and it pauses it.

  I dont know. In the nintendo direct it showed the guy just click the home menu. That would be awesome if you could just quit a game during a level because with my wii i constantly have to leave it on because i cant save it

    WaraWara Plaza is on the TV while the block style menu is on the GamePad. You can flip the two though.

Looks awesome. I think the WiiU runs in a Wii mode for backward gameplay. I wonder if that is the interface we’ll see when we launch that mode.

Wow so I got my Wii u deluxe preordered but the store I ordered from somehow isn’t even getting there consoles until Wednesday.. pretty sure I preordered the console to get it on launch day. But when I try to ask for my refund they claim they can’t give me a cash refund. And now Nintendo denthaveohn
