Four new Wii U launch trailers: Batman Arkham City, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Trine 2, and Tank Tank Tank.

The Wii U launched yesterday with 30 games — 23 retail and 7 downloadables — and we’re sure you’re still busy learning the ins and outs of new Nintendo console. But we still got a few launch trailers for you: Batman: Arkham City, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Trine 2, and Tank Tank Tank. Check out the trailers below, and let us know which one is your favorite!

      I’ve played trine 2 , and it’s solid proof of the wiiu’s Graphical Prowess. The lighting (just like Rayman) is absoloutly top draw.

      I think the wiiu must have a very very good GPU.

      That being said some Multiplats on wiiu have a low framerate an shit :S is probably becaause of a development bottleneck. Although the wiiu probably has much higher potential than other consoles , some developers are not optimizing there games properly which isn’t acceptable.

      AC3 , TT2 , Blops 2 are all how ports should be on wiiu. Anything less is just a half assed effort by the developer.

        AC3 Is not how ports should be done. I recall that they did not bring over full particle detail among other small but nice things.

      I played the arcade version of ‘Tank! Tank! Tank!’. It’s actually pretty fun. Although the Wii U doesn’t have a rumble seat or a fan on either side of the seat, I really wonder what the gameplay would be like on the Wii U…

    The best looking downloadable indy title so far is Trine 2: Director’s Cut. Even when the game is presented in HD, the graphics look extremely gorgeous. Out of the 3 major league titles for the Wii U, the best one is Batman: Arkham City: Armored Edition. WB Games Montreal have done an outstanding job recreating the original (including Game of the Year)… including the full power of the Unreal Engine 3. 2 days after the U’s new generation launch, the BEST is yet to come.

      Zombiu isn’t bad. Has a pretty decent thrill factor to it. Btw…reviews are too opinionated. Try it for yourself. If your in the states, go to your local redbox. They have games for rent now. 3 bux or something like that.

    Was just going to buy batmat out of these titles but after seeing Trine 2 probably purchase that.Looks really nice.Played to much of killzone 3 on ps3 am going back to playing different games on wii u.

    Trine 2 looks epic. The two games here I really want are Trine 2 and Scribblenauts Unlimited. The Tank game had a lot of potential on my opinion, but it doesn’t look like it lives up to that. :(

    Trine 2 d.c. is the best looking wii u game as of now and I’m sure will be one of the best looking games on the wii u throughout its life and I want batman armored edition and I can’t wait to possibly get a wii u next year shit if I had money I would have gotten one and fuck reviews if you like something go check it out and if you have checked it out and don’t like it then don’t get it because reviews can make a good game bad and then not a lot of people wont get that game because the normal person is stupid and goes off of what others say and don’t do research etc etc

    Definitely gettin Trine 2. Lol. Wanna play all the other games I got first though. :) tank tank tank seems like a good party game. But I’ll wait for that to drop in price along with the other two.

    Of these I think Trine 2 is the best trailer, Tank! Tank! Tank! looks fun, but it’s a real multiplayer party game I think, my friends wouldn’t like it much. Scribblenauts looks like fun, but not really the kind of game I want, can’t verify it though as I can’t play wiiu yet.

    As far as batman goes, not sure, I really have to see it, you guys say it’s the best looking game so far as for the “multiplatforms” but a Dutch game magazine says that batman looks not as good on the wiiu compared to the ps3/360 version, the mag claims the ps3/360 versions look better, yet some of you say it uses the full power on unreal 3 engine, something ps3/360 can’t do so for that one I’ll hold myself in the back until I can check it myself later this year.

      correction on my side, just watched some comparison video’s on YouTube dunno where the Dutch mag. got it from, but wiiu version of batman looks way better, a lot more shiny metal, better lightning, sharper and a lot more details on the characters especially catwoman. I should write an angry letter to the mag. and tell them they should get that cream pie out of their faces. AC3 looks a lot more colorful and realistic too. Couldn’t find anything on Darksiders2 though :( and that’s a game I really want.
