Less than a week after the launch of the Nintendo Wii U, retailers are enjoying the biggest sales day of the year: Black Friday. Both analysts and eager consumers are concerned there may be a shortage of consoles for the holiday shopping season. But Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime promised stock would be replenished in time for the all-important Black Friday.
We’re currently cozied up in the WiiUDaily headquarters but thought it wise to check in with all our guerilla shopping gamers: how are you faring on Black Friday? Were you able to find a Wii U and if so where? Wii would love U to give us the report, straight from the streets and stores!
Some of the best Wii U Black Friday deals were slated for Target, Walmart, Sears, and Old Navy. That’s right, Old Navy. One of their door busters include earning a free copy of New Super Mario Brothers U with any purchase over $40. There’s no telling how many units of the game were available at each store, but fill us in if were on the front lines of the Black Friday battle!
