      …I guess they feel… like… next gen? Yeah, I’m not sure what the point of it is; maybe that’s just how the disc reader on the Wii U prefers them :\

      I actually once cut myself on one, but I think it is for just making it look nicer and feel more nice.

      Well, I believe it will allow them to slide into the machine a little smoother, among other things.

      Maybe its better for the disc? I mean sharp edges van break faster than round ones or so? And i guess its just for the feel of it to make it feel expensiver or so.
