      I was thinking that at first, too, but then I looked more at the last disc (Wii U) and noticed what they’re talking about with the edges being rounder. Perhaps the disc is a little thicker that allows for the edges to be rounded off. Traditional discs–after taking another look at my own–have more of a flat edge that’s smooth for the most part.

      It just looks shinier to me. But I can’t say I have good eyes for these details.

    Perhaps my imagination isn’t what it used to be, but I really can’t see anything different in these pictures…all the discs look the same to me.
