Wii U close to getting hacked?
0
According to a new hacker group, the Wii U is close to getting hacked, allowing for homebrew applications and games.
Earlier today the hacker group known as failOverflow posted some pictures and tweets hinting that they may be onto something concerning hacking the Wii U. The title of the picture was ”The Wii U is a system we can all enjoy together”.
The hacker group made it clear this was done on the Wii U, not a PC. Pretty exciting times if you are one who enjoys homebrew. Do note that while there are reasons to not hack your device, such as losing your warranty, not all people who use homebrew are pirates.
Are you somebody interested in a little homebrew action on the Wii U? There is no current estimated time for a public release but feel free to let us know how you feel about this in the comments below.
