Nintendo is hoping to woo filmgoers at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The company will be hosting several events for the gathering including the Wii U and 3DS. The Wii U related event is called the Wii U Video Challenge. The challenge will take place tomorrow, January 17, and will showcase films about next generation video game consoles. The films will be making their premiere at the event, including one focused on the Wii U and New Super Mario Bros. U.
On the 18th, Nintendo will open its Nintendo Lounge and invite executives and celebrities to take part in several different games on the Wii U and 3DS, including Nintendo Land and ZombiU, but upcoming games like Wii Fit U and Rayman Legends will also be playable. The lounge will open to the public on January 21.
