While North American and Japanese Wii U owners have had Nintendo TVii for over a month now, there is still no sign of the new service in Europe. Nintendo TVii offers users lots of choices when to comes to streaming TV and content on the Wii U console, where users can even access their DVR recordings.
Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata said during the European Nintendo Direct presentation that the company is still working on bringing Nintendo TVii to Europe “as soon as possible”, and that Nintendo “appreciates your patience”. In the meantime, Nintendo will launch the Netflix Wii U app for European users in the coming days.
