Among all the great announcements from Nintendo Direct yesterday such as Monolith Soft’s new title in development and the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake, a few have slipped through the cracks. Iwata showed us a new trailer for the crowd-controlled super-hero game, The Wonderful 101. I played the demo for the game at last year’s E3 when it was simply known as Project P-100 and from the looks of the trailer, the game has been a lot more fleshed out since that small press demo.
Overall the crowd looks to move much more fluidly and the variety of activities you can perform with your group have definitely improved. The tech demo only allowed for a few transformations, but you can see several in the trailer. I’m definitely excited about this game becoming available soon as it seems like a fresh take on the many super hero games that have been released in the past few years.
