Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien will be heading to Wii U at the end of this month. The game was just submitted to Nintendo for Wii U eShop approval so no specific date has been set, but the game’s Steam page lists a release date as February 26. The developers have posted a dev blog on their site detailing the final stages of the submission process, including bug hunting and fixing a last minute problem on the Wii U.
Other problems the team faced included having to repackage the whole game for XBLA and dropping a small leaderboards feature for the PS3. It’s a good read for anyone interested in what goes on behind the scenes in game development, so be sure and check it out here.
