Publisher Codemasters has announced that a special version of F1 Race Stars is coming to the Wii U. Called F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition, the game will feature previously released DLC packs. The DLC includes 4 new race tracks: India, Europe, Canada, and China.
F1 Race Stars is an arcade racing game, similar to Mario Kart and Sonic & All-Stars Racing, which has been quite successful on the Wii U. The original game was released back in November on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and did reasonably well in sales. The game features all 12 real Formula 1 teams and all 24 drivers, including famous ones like Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
We don’t have a solid release date on the Wii U version yet, nor do we know what special features it might include.
