Is the Wii U even getting the DLC? If not then who cares, I got the game at launch and have diamond smgs and snipers, the game is extremely repetitive without DLC

    • jcnba28

It’s extremely repetitive with DLC too.

      • Rafael Saldana

Maybe but I would at least give me a reason to put my MH3U down for a few min

    • Steven Scott

how do you get diamond camo?

      • bizzy gie

You have to unlock the gold skin for ALL the guns in that row or category.

        • Steven Scott

          ok then thanks

  • goldenfirered136

Is the Wii U getting DLC??

This article is a bit miss leading

    Where is double xp?

    • Jedi Russ

      its on now

  • ejownz6

I sold my copy after the first DLC pack didn’t come out on Wii U. Another reason why Nintendo owners usually stick to Nintendo published games.

Why even release a product on Wii U if you’re not going to support it, Activision?

What does this have to do with Wii U? Are we getting this double XP weekend even though we probably aren’t getting this DLC?

I remember like maybe a month ago, we had a double XP weekend like 3 weeks in a row, and in different game modes (I guess they felt sorry for us or wanted to promote playing in that game mode?)

There is a RUMOR of a DLC called Diversion coming to Wii U Black Ops 2, but nothing about Uprising.

I feel like my comment was more informative than this article.

It was indeed more informative than this article. I get the feeling Wii U daily is run by a bunch of 16 year old kids. I obviously know it’s not,but these articles are not what I’d expect from adults.

I don’t have the Wii U version of Black Ops II, but I would assume it would be like the other consoles. Double XP is separate from DLC. You don’t have to buy any of the add ons to participate, and it doesn’t cost anything. Even if the DLC doesn’t come, I’d imagine that you would still get double XP.

      • Wayne Beck

Your right. The PR team confirmed Double XP for Wii U on their official Forums.

    • Wayne Beck

“Call of Duty ®: Black Ops 2 Uprising is available April 16th, first on Xbox LIVE® (other platforms to follow).” – Official CoD:BO2 Site

As usual, looks like Microsoft paid them not to release it on Nintendo. Was Probably the same for the last DLC.

        Hello Wii U Community,

I know many of you are curious about whether or not DLC for Black Ops 2 will be coming to the Wii U. Unfortunately, we do not have any information that we can share at this time.

In order to keep this forum productive, we will continue to lock threads that are started to inquire about DLC on the Wii U as they are considered spam. Also, any threads that evolve into a DLC discussion may also be locked.

        Thank you for your understanding.

I think you folks are forgetting the fact that Nintendo are still updating the OS for the Wii U. Take a look @ the following: https://www.youtube.com/watch?…
      This
was released on the 28th March 2013 on the official Nintendo Youtube
channel. Downloadable Content appears to be an additional option added
to the eshop. I live in AU and I don’t yet have the option to click on
Downloadable Content in the eshop. I think it is going to be released in
one of Nintendo’s official spring update patches. So, even if Treyarch
committed to DLC for the Wii U (which I want as much as any other keen
COD wii u player), it wouldn’t be available until Nintendo released the
option to purchase DLC on the Nintendo eshop. On a side note, I also
believe Nintendo are working to separate the Nintendo Network ID from
the Wii U, so purchases are stored with your Network ID, rather than the
console. I think this will also have it advantages for DLC.

    if my parents let me

  • Toby

Ashley this doesn’t relate to the wii I version. They are not getting the dlc.

  • Ducked

The Wii U version of black ops II is the best version, yet they haven’t put a single DLC on it. Its just a way to throw your money away anyways.

        Well….?

Eurogamer is referring specifically technical aspects of the game, and forget to realize that a 360 port would be coded as such, meant to run all code on the CPU rather than the GPU. Once Nintendo started offering more support for porting projects, as can be seen by NFSMW, even when utilizing the same engine coded to run heavy on CPU and light on GPU, Wii U is still able to pull out better framerates, and better overall visuals. NFSMW was ported in less than three months, and the engine was not coded specifically for the Wii U, it is using the 360 engine, with some PC assets.

All of that said, BLOPS2 on Wii U is the best console version of the game, Activision has said as much, the use of the gamepad is really well done, and there are no noticeable framerate dips to be seen without high speed equipment to pick up on them.

NO DLC is like FUCK YOU TO THE FACE. Very rude of Activision.

  • Steven Scott

I hope that this years COD for the Wii U get the DLC if not then I will be angry

  • Kyle Berger

at least we get double xp. fuck you Activision we deserve DLC.

In other more relevant news. I just received an email from Square-Enix promoting their game Thief 4.

The email clearly states that Thief 4 will be released in 2014 for PS4 and PC, it also clearly stated it will be released on “other next generation consoles”, assuming they for sure refer to Xbox720/Durango or whatever it’s called and maybe even for Wii U? as again it cleary states. “Thief 4 will be released on PS4 and PC as well as on other next generation CONSOLES.

Maybe somewhat usefull news? Even though nothing has been confirmed about which next generation consoles Square-Enix refers to except PC and PS4.

SHITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! This has nothing to do with this site or the Wii U BO2 anything. BO2 Wii U doesn’t even get DLC!

  • Bob Singh

Whats the point of this article? Double XP already happened so many times.

  • kevin nun—-

Considering this is a 2XP weekend preparing for the uprising pack and Wii U is included at this event, it might just be, a small chance, that the Wii U BO2 is finally getting DLC. One can dream huh?

But here in the US we’ve been able to purchase dlc from the start..and yet we haven’t seen any Black Ops 2 dlc =_=

  • TheBoldman67

Great, with my Wii U off at Nintendo for repairs, I get to miss the double XP with my friends.

  • Martin Kearney

Well, there are hints there and here saying we might get it. Like in the new trailer for Uprising, the An-94 with Hybrid sight isn’t in the center of the screen. And I know for sure it’s not a cropped image. Also, if you look up DLC on the eshop, Black ops 2 will come up. It doesn’t mean anything is true, but I take that a some sort of a sign.
