Giveaway: Win a copy of Hyrule Historia from Wii U Daily!

Hyrule-Historia-Cover

We’re as excited as you are waiting for the HD remake of Wind Waker and the new Zelda project that Nintendo has been cooking up, so to tide you over we’re giving away a copy of the recently released Hyrule Historia book, authored by Miyamoto and other key members of the Legend of Zelda team. The book features lore and never before seen artwork from several of the games in the series.

So how do you win? It’s simple! You have the chance to get three entries into the pot by performing a few simple steps. The first is required, the other two are optional:

  1. Comment below and tell us what you’d name the currently in-development Zelda game.
  2. Like Wii U Daily on Facebook to gain an extra tally.
  3. Follow us on Twitter and tweet the hashtag #NameThatZeldaGame for another tally.

The contest will go on until next Friday, so you have until then to think up an awesome name for the game. You need to have your entry below by 11:59PM CST on Friday night (April 12th)  in order to be considered, as I’ll be taking the weekend to total everyone’s chances and pull a random name out of the pot.

So what are you waiting for? Name that Zelda game!

The Legend of Zelda: Zelda Finally Gets Off her *ss and Lives Up To Her “Legend” Status

I think they meant a subtitle, like Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess. They are never going to name it Legend of Link.

Why would they have bothered with a fairy?

The Wii U tech demo,is meant to be Twilight Princess. The reason for the fairy, could be because there is a fairy in Twilight Princess Wii. (It’s the same fairy as in the U demo.)

  • Chiwawa

I would name the next zelda game; the legend of zelda zant returns.

I’d call it that because I’d like to see the very origin of Zelda (which makes it very true to it’s name). Set before the Skyward Sword when you play as the warrior link and alongside the goddess Hylia…It’d be a dark ending with their death, but birth (Legend) of Princess Zelda.

    • Chiwawa

you have a point. link could adventure to rainbow island and fight the possesed navi, for all we know.

Have a new item like a magic pen which can utilize the tablet. Draw symbols to open doors or make your own maps like in Phantom Hour Glass. At specified locations drawing a symbol of wind or a snowflake could effect the whole area making new areas accessible. United for the miiverse integration which would allow the ancient scribes (actually data from other wiiUs) to leave clues in temples like old maps or scribbles on the walls, or even create a new interesting mail system. Worth a shot.

Considering they said they were going to go away from the single player convention.
Considering 4-swords and 4 swords Adventures weren’t very popular (even though I loved them)
Considering they could easily do 2-player with one looking at the TV screen and one looking at the GamePad
    I think it’ll be 2-player co-op.
I’d call it The Legend of Zelda: Linked together

    • Ducked

I like the idea of that.

    • Nonayo Business

I like it cause you remembered what they told us about it in that Nintendo Direct. It’s always named according to that game and since you don’t know enough about the story to call it Minish Cap or Skyward Sword or whatever you knew it would be multiplayer and used your brain to come up with one that is an actual possibility!

    • http://twitter.com/Jamie_Clabon Jamie Clabon

I like four swords, but not as a Zelda game

    • Dominic Coradazzi

Nice idea, but I really hope the developers don’t make multiplayer manditory

The legend of Zelda titles are based of a key narrative point or item. So to make a good name we need to imagine a good narrative. I imagine that unlike skyward sword we go to the opposite end of the time scale. The world is near ruins. The gods are dying due to an ongoing epic battle with Demise. I picture a flute which can send Link to sleep. I imagine link can meet his previous incarnations in this spiritual dream world in which each incarnation guides him to his next destination. The dream world exists on the border of time an space. So the alternate timelines do not trouble the physics. I would call the game The The Legend of Zelda: Flute of Dreams, simple.

The Legend of Zelda: Seven Sages
This will take place as a war breaks out in the entire world. Hyrule will need to band together with the Gorons, Zoras, and the thieves will all have their lives at stake. A new antagonist will have an army of monsters and demons as he tries to concur the world. He already has the piece of power and he knows that the knowledge is in Hyrule with Zelda. If he gets the second piece he will become even more powerful. The only way for it to be stopped is if a hero manages to find the piece of courage that is lost completely. Link is summoned by one of the Sages and must then go on a journey to the remaining six, gathering instructions from each on how to find the piece. There is a problem though. A war is going on in Hyrule and every living thing is in danger as the antagoniost attempts to demolish the continent. Another problem, the hero must keep Zelda safe from the antagonist so that he does not get the piece of knowledge. Another problem, nobody knows where the other six sages are!!!! I think it’s a good idea and could be a HUGE game! Think of the possiblities with this. Especially with that Zelda-ness in it.

  • Adrian

Uhm, I don’t sign in through facebook, so you would have no way of knowing that I liked you or not.

But anyways. Zelda Zelda. I don’t know much about the game in development, so I’ll just throw out a dream.

Let’s say this Zelda splits the world in two as usual (light and dark or PAST AND FUTURE) and it has a huge open world to explore. If they play alot on a time travel aspect then.

I think a cool name would be: “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to Eternity”

The Legend of Zelda: All-Powerful Link
The Legend of Zelda: Dark Side of Hero

It is possible that this time instead of being courageous and humble, Link actually found its dark side (much like spiderman 3) and fell into it. This game is the battle of the inner self. Lately, I’ve been seeing a bit of the dark side in Link (like ocarina of time with dark link, twilight princess showed evil link laughing in one of the cutscene, etc) so I think this time it will come out. Even Ganon is nothing compared to the darkest of the dark LINK!

Also link must use all the weopons in the past he used to kill the main boss in each game and craft it into an ultimate weapon and in the end when you beat the game it shows a rusty book and in the end it sayd (in italics ‘Fin’) like it’s the final zelda game!

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Vengeance

The spirit of the beast Majora has returned to cause catastrophe, this time it’s in Hyrule. Unfortunately, because Majora has possessed an innocent being, It will take more than a pure heart to defeat Majora, it will also take a heart of pure evil. In your quest, you must locate and seek Ganondorf and convince him to help defeat Majora. Ganondorf accepts on the grounds that the Gerudo tribe may take over half of Hyrule. Having little choice, Zelda tells Link to allow this as Hyrule will be better off half owned by Ganondorf than completely destroyed. To truly defeat Majora, They will need not just the Master Sword, but also it’s opposite: The sword wielded by the Demon King Demise long ago. In the end, it is revealed that the Happy Mask Salesman was the one who found and captured the spirit of Majora back in it’s mask. He then, through some unknown method, released the spirit into the world. But, what he did not know is that the possessor has no control over the powers, that is until he uses the triforce to take control of Majora. This transforms him into an evil monstrosity. Despite all his power, he is no match for Link and Ganondorf.

In the Main Quest, you will switch between Link and Ganondorf to pass different obstacles and defeat various monsters.

In Multiplayer Quest, You and a friend can take control of Link and Ganondorf separately.

Ganon seeks this goes to find the person possessing all the attributes

Dam, thats actually an original story, and a freaking good one. Nintendo should probably do that.

    • Merel

I think it’s a good idea. But now when you look at the figure of the triforce, it has 3 equal triangles. When you fill the hole in the middle for the 4th goddess, this triangle is upside down. It just doesn’t seem right having 1 triangle the other way around. I feel that they aren’t equal anymore. So I don’t think that there should be a 4th goddess.
And I don’t like the idea of changing the original story haha. I love it’s the way it is now, with just 3 triangles in the triforce.

      • The Clockwork Being

Well I get were you are coming from and I have though about it too. But Nintendo could make this work. Plus the middle of the triforce is as equal as the other parts. For the triangles being the other way around it could be because:

”Link possessing the triforce of Courage, Ganon the one of power and Zelda the one of Wisdom they cant find the last triforce unless they are leaded by someone not possessing a triforce but that possesses Power, Wisdom and Courage regardless of if he is evil or good.”

so the triforce in the middle can only be found by someone with equal attributes of Wisdom, Courage and Power so it basically the triforce that binds the triforce of Wisdom, Power and Courage together.

        • linkdk12

or maybe because it’s the opposite of them or the dark side of it, and like everywhere else there must be balance betwen the forces on hyrule… i don’t know…. sounds good but at the same time not so much xD

          • The Clockwork Being

That could be a good idea in some way

        • Merel

It could work, but there shouldn’t be a 4th goddess right? Cause then you will need another triforce. Courage, power, wisdom and …… Unless it’s a supreme goddess or something. A goddess that rules the other 3 goddesses. That could explain the middle of the triforce being the other way around.

          • The Clockwork Being

            That sounds great!!

          • Merel

    • David Noble

Actually, *spoiler alert* it was Demise that began it; Ganon is his curse. Blame him. Zelda is a royal name because of the original, who ended up being the goddess Hylia. All the goddesses did was make sure there was always a Hero with the spirit of the original Link to defeat Ganon. You’re suggesting that the original Link be upset that there will always be a Hero, so he wants revenge on his best friend. Obviously, protecting Hyrule is evil, so I DEFINITELY agree.

My serious answer is the legend of Zelda: Sheikan cross

about the backstory of the sheikan uprising, allegiance and betrayal by the hylian family. Link could be a sheikan in this game, or it could actually be zelda. Maybe you’d get a choice! the combat would be drastically more fluid and ninja like, but core zelda dungeons and puzzles would be its center.

The Legend of Zelda: Triangle of Courage

This may sound a bit random but since a lot of zelda games have involved small portable instruments I chose the triangle. Who knows, the triforce may have splitted up into small instruments and link and ganondorf could have an epic triangle battle! Couldn’t think of anything serious so this is my idea. But since he wrote the he’ll “pull a random name out of the pot” I suppose it doesn’t matter.

Are you mistaking her for Peach?

In several of them she plays a rather big part of the story and does alot of the work alongside or instead of Link. Like in Ocarina of Time (as Sheik), Wind Waker (as Tetra) and Skyward Sword.
She isn’t even in Links Awakening and Majoras Mask.

Sometimes she’s put under a sleeping spell, or KIDNAPPED (yes indeed), but BY SOMEONE ELSE – like Vaati.

The legend of zelda: Hyrule’s war

For this zelda game, Link learns that ganondorf is planning to start a war between hyrule and his army to destroy hyrule and kidnap princes zelda, so link begins a quest to make an alliance with the zoras, gorons, etc.

But to make they help you, you have to do something for them, like kill a giant crab that try to destroy zoras (water temple), stop the sand worm and save the gorons, and when you help everybody then they will help you in the war.

When the wars begins, link will have to steer through the war to reach ganondorf and defeat him to stop the war, making a final battle between link and ganondorf in the middle of the war.

The Legend of Zelda: Sea Blade (3DS)/(Wii U)
500 years have gone since the blade was lost to the sea. After a temple was discovered and an ancient masked retrieved, New Hyrule is plagued. Sickness runs through the lands. Darkness covers the skys. Link jumps aboard a submarine to journey to the sea to find three pieces of the ancient blade that are now scattered on the ocean floor. Use the bottom of the 3DS(or wii u gamepad) to scan the ocean floor and find the pieces to the Sea Blade and slay this new evil.

SPOILER: The Sea Blade is the Master Sword. It was struck into Ganondorf in Wind Waker but the waves destroyed the blade over time.

    Zelda: Lost in time

Link and Zelda (you name both of them @ the beginning of the game) were normal kids leaving in a village surrounded by woods (Somewhere in planet earth? /Not Hyrule).

They were just as any other kids leaving there, but with funny pointed ears.

One day (after some inside the village adventures and quest as a walkthrough for the new controls ;p), they were hanging out in the Woods near their village and they
    started playing hide and seek.

Was Zelda time to hide but after falling into a rift she got lost in the woods and
suddenly she was surrounded by mist (She was now in the lost woods?). After a
while walking, a skull kid appears in front of her; just for a few seconds, but
he disappear in a breeze of mist. Zelda started chasing the Skull Kid shadow that
was running through the woods between the trees, hoping to get his help to find
    a way out.

She finally gets into a clearing outside the woods where she sight a
beautiful but burned and very old castle surrounded by a river (She didn’t know
yet but she was in Hyrule now, in another time, in another word, in another
    dimension…)

At this time you start playing as Zelda, in a time when the evil and merciless wizard Gannon has been the Hyrule Emperor for 400 years (he doesn’t gets old because of a mystery artifact that he possesses…the triforce?); and the last kingdoms standing were those of the Zoras, the Gorons, and some revels kids from the woods.

You learn later in the game that Impa, one of the Hyrule King wizard knights and personal bodyguard, cast a spell on the king little baby girl (that made her disappear?), in order to save her @ the time the Hyrule castle fell into Gannon clutches 400 hundred years ago.

Gannon has heard the prophecy about the missing princess coming back to take back his kingdom.

After several adventures (and dungeons ;p), Zelda fall into a Gannon trap and he imprisoned her in his fortress.

Hopefully, by that time, some wood kids found a strange boy with pointed ears lost in their woods. After learning that he was not a Gannon spy, they took him into their village, to the presence of the great Deku Spirit.
The spirit gives you a magical green robe & a wood shield, and explain you about a legendary sword that wields the power to destroy the evil emperor…

I would believe that this new Zelda game would be called

Legend of Zelda: The Last Linkbender

“Zorras. Gorons. Gerudos. Hyrulians. My grandmother used to tell me stories about
the old days, a time of peace when Link kept balance between the Zorra Tribes, Goron Kingdom, Gerudo Nation, and Hyrule Nomads. But that all
changed when the Gerudo Nation attacked. Only Link master of all four
elements. Only he could stop the ruthless gerudobenders. But when the
world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Gerudo Nation is nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father and
the men of my tribe journeyed to the Goron Kingdom to help fight against
the Gerudo Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe.
Some people believe that Link was never reborn into the Hyrule
Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven’t lost hope. I still
believe that somehow, Link will return to save the world”

(Slightly changed from Avatar: The Last Airbender)

This is a direct sequel of Ocarina of Time if Link did not defeat Ganondorf. All of Hyrule was placed into a land of peril and ultimately, existed no more. The legacy of Time, hidden in the Temple of Time states that the Hero of Time will once again return to bring peace to Hyrule but a hundred years have passed and still no sign of the hero. My brother and I wandered around the frozen Zorra kingdom, hoping to find some answers but all we found was a big ball of ice containing a green clad man inside. We furiously tried to break the ball but had no success. Finally, a few days later we broke it and found out the person we freed was actually the Hero of Time. He had lost all his powers and we had to go, searching the nations to strengthen the hero and ultimately bringing an end to the peril in Hyrule

The Legend of Zelda: Lense of Truth
The Legend of Zelda: Scale of Valor

But it would definitely depend on what the game is about.
but i’d like them to switch it up and make it a connection game like they did with Skyward Sword a bit, telling a story that occurs between two games or before a game we already have to further solidify the timeline. I’d think it would be cool if it was about the creation of the sages. Link could have to find the sages throughout the lands and awaken a spirit in them they’d need a kool item to help link do this and name it after, so lets just go with…
Scale of Valor, if they want a new item OR Lense of Truth if they wanted to do something kool by bringing up an item and giving it a new use, such as being able to see the truth in people or their true spirit…idk this is just off the top of my head

  • David Noble

Let’s consider the four sections of the Legend of Zelda Timeline.

    Skyward Sword to Four Swords:

It is made clear that in the years of peace following the death of Demise, as well as in the eras of chaos and prosperity, the only threats to the tri-force are those of regular people who are not overly powerful. There are but a few days separating the Minish Cap and Four Swords. Lastly, all games feature either the Four Sword or the Master Sword, with the exception of those located in New Hyrule, and the niether existed prior to Skyward Sword. For these reasons, if the newest addition were to take place in this section of the timeline, it would occur between Four Swords and the Ocarina of Time. Because this was a time of war in Hyrule, this time would not have nearly the correct mood for a Zelda game.

A Link to the Past to Adventure of Link:

Another war time follows Ocarina of Time before A Link to the Past, and afterward, Twinrova gets right to work reviving Ganon. Link experiences his nightmare, beginning Link’s Awakening. Afterward, peace comes until another Princess Zelda is put into an eternal sleep, after which the final two games of this timeline occur. Any game added into this timeline would likely come following Adventure of Link.

Majora’s Mask to Four Swords Adventure:

As no two Heroes exist at once, and one such Hero traveled to Termina directly after Ocarina of Time. Also, it would appear as though Hyrule’s biggest concern was dealing with Gerudo. However, the time period between Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess for the Wind Mage Vaati to be revived, or alternatively a new villain. Lastly, with Vaati out of the picture, it is very likely that a new Four Swords game could be created with Ganondorf appearing as the main villain.
    Wind Waker to Spirit Tracks:
It is stated in the historia that Ganondorf flooded the lands at a time with no hero, so no game is likely to occur between Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, but more importantly, the games in New Hyrule are remaining on the handhelds.

    • David Noble

Now that we’ve considered the possible times, the next step is picking a villain.
Demise is gone, left with only his curse, Ganon.
Vaati is constructed for a two dimensional game, and is slightly worn out as a villain.
Bellum controls a Ghost Ship, and Hyrule does not hav an ocean.
Malladus is sealed in New Hyrule.
Majora is in Termina, which is no longer new and surprising enough for Zelda.
Ganon/Ganondorf is sealed in the Four Sword, a very peculiar situation suggesting further events.

Most of the sidequests would start with finding out something terrible happened, like someone’s murder, or a missing brother, and would end, not in a happy way, but in a “scars never heal” kind of way, with everyone involved carrying on in quiet, content, depression. Link’s own story would end perfectly; he gets the girl, saves the princess, etc., but he would be miserable, a shell of a man after all that he’s heard and witnessed.

The Legend of Zelda: Light Shadows

Link is a young boy (below the age of 13) who one day stumbles upon The Unparalleled Sword whilst venturing into the forest ; a sword which does exactly what is said in its name, it breaks the balance of good and evil inside ones heart but Link is a pure heart so the sword does not effect him, Link thinks it to be a sword of pure light as it shrouds itself in light when pointed to the sky (similar to Skyward Sword) not knowing the truth (and despite what the village elder tells him of the swords darkside) and so the sword attempts to break the balance by possessing Link’s dreams trying to create darkness in his heart but everytime the darkness nearly consumes his heart, a beacon of light in the shape of Zelda burns the darkness in his dream and Link wakes up thinking it only to be a nightmare and is comforted by Zelda his greatest friend and one who he shares a hidden love for and Link remains a pure heart till one night when Link is a young adult (between 15 and 18) Zelda, is kidnapped by a masked kidnapper and his/her henchmen. Link battles these henchmen with The Unparalleled Sword trying to save Zelda but Link is too late and sees his greatest friend and hidden love get kidnapped away on a horse, this fuels anger inside Link and he battles the henchmen with rage but they are too many and surround him and when all seems lost, The Unparalleled Sword speaks to Link telling him to awaken his new found darkness, manipulating Link, telling him he will die and never see Zelda again if he refuses his new found darkness and so Link not wanting this to happen embraces the darkness and so the henchmen fully surround Link and mug him till we see a purple explosion and Link is on his hands and knees and then suddenly lifts his face and we see a demon-like Link. His perfect teeth turned into fangs, his beautiful blue eyes turned purple, his lovely skin as pale white as the moon, his hair as black as the night, his fingernails turned to claws and lastly his sword now when pointed to the sky was shrouded in purple flames. Link defeats the henchmen with ease thanks to his new dark abilities and then feels a pain in his heart and drops to his knees as the darkness consumes his heart till the sun shines and Link returns to his normal state and faints. He wakes up in the village elders bed inside the elders house, the elder tells Link in a grumpy tone ‘ You allowed the darkness to nearly consume, if it not been for the light then we both would have lost you’, he informs Link of his swords legend and he once bared the sword till he banished it away in the forest, ‘I bet you wish to find Zelda, lucky for you I shall not stop you, I overheard one of the henchmen say they were taking Zelda to Stone Grove, you must journey there, here take these supplies and go’ and that is how Link’s new journey begins. Will the darkness consume Link? Will he find Zelda? Who is this masked kidnapper?

    Legend of Zelda: Linked together
I’m just thinking maybe they’re going to make it 2-player, one person with a wii-mote and the other with the gamepad (or maybe it’ll be one of the new games which people can play with 2 gamepads). Don’t think it’ll be another 4-swords since the problem with that was not enough people could play at the same time etc. Just can’t think of a good name though. Legend of Zelda: Linked together. Or something like that. Ganon travels in time and manages to capture the tri-force while Link follows him and meets up with the Link in the time that Ganon has just travelled to…if that makes sense. Can anyone else come up with a better name for that plot though? my imagination is really terrible.

I think I would name the next game the Legend of Zelda: The Song Time Forgot. I think this may be very close to the actual name they choose because the fact that Nintendo is rethinking the conventions of Zelda may mean they go back to making music in the series a much bigger focus like they did with Skyward Sword. It would be cool if I was right but that’s just my opinion-I would like this to be the title though. I would also name the game The Legend of Zelda: The Hero Time Forgot or the The Song of Heroes Time Forgot. I dunno but that’s all I’ve got.

The name of a brandnew Zelda game must be: “The Legend of Zelda: War of Races”.
Yesterday i read a rumor that was leaked. Something about a war between the Hylians, Gorons and other races.

  • Jeffery02

“The Legend of Zelda: Links of History”, Centralized around these “links” that hold some part of the universe together that fracture and force Hyrule out of sync with reality. The dungeons are each in different dimensions where you have to fix the hole and then the dungeon reverts to it’s original state. It could be a way to “link” (see what I did there? :-P) the 3 timelines and have the fractures be due to Demise trying to reform from fractions of himself in each of the alternate timeline.

Instead of finding the triforce Link is forced to find and destroy the various pieces of the triforce, along with Ganons forces, he has to fight against Goron, Zora etc. none of which understand he’s doing this for Hyrules good.

The Legend of Zelda: A New Beginning
Set during the period of time between The Ocarina of Time and the Wind Waker, the game will begin with the arrival of Ganondorf back into Hyrule. As the townspeople wait for a new Hero of Time to arise, Ganon busies himself destroying the temples of the world. The world is plunged into darkness…
Meanwhile, a young boy named Link works at LonLon ranch, now a thriving community of commerce. He is set out on an errand by his boss, and by coincedence happens upon a piece of the Triforce. Before he can do anything about it, however, Ganon appears and teleports the boy into a different time… (The third timeline, the “Dead” timeline)
There Link must destroy an even greater demon, one that has survived across the worlds, who has shaped the very land for generations; Demise. Only then, may the worlds find true peace….
The game finds Link traveling between timestreams. :)

I prefer to take this to the next level. Based on my previous comments, which I will post as a reply to this one, I have determined that the final boss will be either Ganon(dorf) or a new boss. The game will take place after Adventure of Link, between Twilight Princess and Four Swords Adventure, or after Four Swords Adventure. Also, for the most part, the games have been named based off of a particular key element, such as Minish Cap and Skyward Sword. Here are the names and descriptions of my favorite ideas for games, ending with the game likely to be closest to what Nintendo has in mind.

The Legend of Zelda: The Broken Blade

The Broken Blade is the story of the Link from Four Swords, who, after wandering into the forest (fact), was put under an eternal sleep spell, during which he was transported to Termina. While the Link from Ocarina of Time did not defeat Majora in the timeline where he fails, Majora destroys Termina. Link is awakened by the gods after the events of Adventure of Link. He sees the ruined land and, believing it is Hyrule, vows to avenge it. He is returned to Hyrule and retrieves the Foursword, and although he realizes he was not in Hyrule to begin with, must keep his vow. He unleashes Vaati when re-claiming the Foursword, and Vaati follows Link back to Termina by means of a powerful wizard who he threatens. In Termina, Majora possesses Vaati, and Link must defeat Majora-Vaati.

The Legend of Zelda: The Fifth Sword
Twins named, obviously, Link begin a quest to defeat Ganon(dorf), who has broken the seal of the Foursword. One wields the Foursword, and the four Links are played with Wii Remotes. The other wields the Master Sword using the gamepad. Ganon once again attempts to conquer Hyrule. The one to five players gather the items needed to reach and defeat Ganon. I’m not quite sure about the details for this story, but it is more likely than the other, and has the unique multiplayer function Nintendo was pondering utilizing the Wii Remote and GamePad.
    My two names are:
The Legend of Zelda: The Broken Blade
The Legend of Zelda: The Fifth Sword

    • ZakAttack7

That’s awesome, I especially love the first one (having played and immensely enjoyed Four Swords), but with Nintendo’s love of asymetrical multiplayer the second seems the most likely.

The Legend of Zelda: The Goron Stone
Knowing very well that Nintendo likes its flagship properties to show off it’s newest technology, (See Zelda: Sword Waggling & Mario Galaxy aka nunchuk shakin’) I am sure Links newest adventure will focus on the Wii Tablet. I’m sure we will be using it to draw on and summon things, and I am guessing this will take the form of a stone tablet in the game world. Who knows stone better than anyone? The Gorons.

The Legend of Zelda: The Lost Hero

When Link was born, he had a twin brother, but the village priest detected something wrong with him and decided he was evil, so reluctantly his family cast him out. He would’ve died, but an evil witch found him and raised him as her own. She watched the events of Ocarina of Time unfold as Link became the Hero of Time and defeated Ganondorf. However, during this time, she managed to find a powerful artifact that could allow her to go back in time. She did so, bringing Link’s twin with her, and managed to kill the young Link and Ganondorf. Link’s twin then defeated the king of Hyrule and took the throne for himself, ruling with an iron fist while the witch was the real power behind the throne. Link and Ganon should’ve died, but their parts of the Triforce kept them alive and left them suspended in time, only to awaken at the point when the witch had gone back in time. The world they emerge in is a cruel and dark one. Link’s part of the Triforce shattered into a further three parts (like in Skyward Sword), each one gravitated to a sacred place in Hyrule, and he must track them down to re-awaken as the hero and regain his memories. Ganondorf, meanwhile, has been replaced as leader by another Gerudo, and must complete three sacred trials to earn the right of challenge. The final trial takes place in the same dungeon where Link is searching for the Triforce, and they meet there. Link finds the Master sword and is greeted by Fi, while Ganondorf finds Demise’s Anti-Master Sword in the dungeon too, with Ghirahim as its reluctant sword spirit. At this point, the two are wanted men, and their only option is to team up (meaning in some sections you control and play as Ganon too), and join the group of rebels who have awaited the return of the hero of time, until finally Link ascends as the hero again and defeats the witch. However, Ganaondorf suddenly betrays him, and Link is forced to fight him, defeating him in battle and letting Zelda (who has been held captive by the witch) become Hyrule’s new ruler. The end, yay!

I’ve had this idea for a long time, feels good to finally write it down, what do you guys think of it? :)

The Legend of Zelda: Mirror of Realms

Ganon (returning to Hyrule in spectral form) is attempting to reclaim the Triforce via possession of the King and various other members of the Royal Family. Link obtains the Mirror of Realms which allows him the ability to create a split-image of himself in the spectral realm while also having full control in the material realm. Link is able to move simultaneously through both the material and spectral realms using the Gamepad (spectral realm view) and your TV (material realm view) to solve puzzles and collect items. Using the Gamepad, Link can also activate the Mirror to scan for traces of Ganon and also for clues to the whereabouts of the King/Royal Family who have been possessed and are lost in the spectral plane. Ganon can only be defeated in the spectral realm, however he will possess monsters in the material realm that must be defeated.

The Legend of Zelda : Forbidden Chambers
In this one, Link has found a sacred scroll in a treasure chest found deep in one of the fairy’s mystic pools. Inside is the scroll to the melody of the Tri force, that tells a tale that warps Link into a world where he has to discover what happened to the Shieks before they died away. He finds old and new friends, while having to meet Ganon, with the dark Ocarina of stars . they will have to work together to escape from one of the chambers by solving a riddle from one of the ten Peacekeepers in each chamber. Eventually, Link will have to kill Ganon to get to the final chamber, but someone unexpected arrives. Thankyou for reading.

The Legend of Zelda: The Fallen Arise

Taking place immediately after the events in Ocarina of Time, in the timeline where Link is defeated at the hands of Ganondorf…

After Ganon draws the TriForces of Courage and Wisdom from Link and Zelda’s bodies, they appear lifeless. The 7 sages take immediate action and attempt to seal Ganon in the Sacred Realm. The seal, however, is inherently unstable due to Ganon’s wielding the full power of the TriForce. During the struggle to contain Ganon, the Picori appear and make off with the bodies of Zelda and Link. The sages manage to contain Ganon, but realize the seal will not hold, and will fail within 3 years. In the meantime, Ganon’s evil will leaks through, and causes monsters and corruption to run rampant.

Through Picori magic, Zelda and Link are revived, although their powers are severely diminished and they no longer bear TriForce fragments. They begin to “rehab” and recover together. Nintendo can make a big play at some kind of romance here if they like. Eventually, they are returned to full size, and realize the fate that awaits the world when the seal breaks. They resolve to do whatever they can to help.

“The Fallen Arise” is the story of how a defeated Link, with Zelda at his side, finds the power to help the sages contain Ganon permanently in the sacred realm. Without the power of the TriForce, he must rely on cunning, raw fighting ability, and determination to save the world from the threat of a TriForce-fueled Ganon.
