The Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist is now available for pre-order from Amazon and GameStop.

Pre-orders for Splinter Cell: Blacklist Wii U are now available on Amazon and GameStop, along with a few details on the enhanced gameplay features players can expect from the Wii U version of the game.

The GamePad will display information from Sam Fisher’s OpSat, allowing the control of several gadgets including a tri-rotor drone, the famous sticky cam and many more. Touch input will allow you to control all of these devices. In addition, players will be able to use the GamePad to mark and execute enemies, meaning the execute system that debuted in Conviction will be returning. Picking gadgets and switching weapons will all be done through the touchscreen as well.

The only downside of this pre-order period is that there is no collector’s edition version for the Wii U, so long time Splinter Cell fans might miss out on the goodies revealed in the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases.

How about a preorder of Mario Kart U or SSB4?

You should probably expect those after their announcement at E3, not before. We’ve still got a few months ahead of us.

Oh I know that, its just that im very excited for those two (especially ssb4, Smash is like my favorite game ever).

Guys just a question, is a Splinter Cell game worth the money? I can get only a few games a year so I have to pick carefully and I quite like this one.

Do you like stealth action games? It’s a third-person game that requires a bit of tactical thinking in order to make it through the missions. Running and gunning like CoD isn’t generally successful.

Splinter cell was great but had gotten a bit stale until conviction came out, it stole rainbow 6′s terrorist hunt mode, had a big campaign, had a totally separate multiplayer campaign, online vs and streamlined some of the movement so you could run out of the shadows, perform a kill and vanish very fast. It was a great stealth game with a decent story too. If this one is anywhere near as good I’ll be hooked, if its better, I dont even know how to describe how elated I would be.

Ashley, how big do you think that Nintendo’s E3 Conference in June will be than last year’s?

    • http://about.me/overlordror Ashley King

It’s going to be much bigger. They’re announcing and demoing at least 10 first party games for the Wii U and that’s not even mentioning the 3DS, so expect a HUGE E3 from Nintendo.

well, we know now that a huge event isn´t true. I hope that the Nintendo Direct will be a mayor success.
