Fans of the Guilty Gear franchise have recently started a petition for Arc System Works to bring the next installment of the 2D fighting game series to Wii U. The game is titled Guilty Gear Xrd, and all we know is that it is currently in development. Check out the trailer below.
At the time of writing this article, the petition has accumulated over 6,000 signatures. Perhaps more importantly, the team at Arc System Works has taken note of the petition, mentioning it in a recent tweet.

As a fan of fighting games, I would love to see Guilty Gear Xrd come to the Wii U and open the door for more fighting games in the future. I also believe that Arc System Works offers a unique art style and gameplay in the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue games that may interest Wii U owners who are looking for something different from the console’s current fighting game offerings.
Is this something you guys would be interested in playing? Will you be signing the petition?
Thanks for the tip Jim!
