Reggie, Iwata, and Shiggy arrive at E3

The Nintendo triforce reunites at E3 2013, ready to show off the Wii U and a ton of new games.

Nintendo E3 2013

E3 kicks off in less than two days, and the Nintendo triforce — Reggie, Iwata, and Miyamoto — have arrived in Los Angeles. Nintendo of America tweeted the above photo where Luigi welcomed Reggie Fils-Aime, Satoru Iwata, and Shigeru Miyamoto to Los Angeles for the 2013 E3 game expo. They did something similar last year, as you can see on the image below. Apparently, they always meet at the back of a van outside the LA Convention Center. That last part was a lie.

That’s a weird way of spelling wisdom, power and courage.

            If life gives you melons…

You must love the attention, you’re certainly gonna get it w/ that comment… nobody bad-mouths these guys, their freakin’ awesome.

        • Magnus Eriksson

I know. Im actually a great fan of Miyamoto. He changed my life. No, really he did. Without him my life would have been totally different. His games defined my childhood.

      • Jerry Garcia

        Leave us. Now.

        • Magnus Eriksson

No, I am secretly in love with Ashley. So as long she writes here, ill stay. :)

      • Yong Woo Kim

So, nintendo, take my money, my brain n my soul. My body is ready XD

      • Clel

Oh Magnus, you did it again. First time I’ve seen someone other than knowledgeiswhatsup with that many downvotes.

    • Nintendofreak

      iwata= awesomeness
      miyamoto= wiseness
      reggie= body readyness

    • DingoWalley

Actually, I would switch Iwata and Reggie. Reggie has the power because his body is ready. Iwata is courageous for taking his company in such a strange direction and succeeding for it.

Miyamoto is definitely wise, however. :)

      • JWHO

lol well i just put Iwata as power because he owns the place and is a *BOSS*!!! And i put Reggie as courage because come on which one of us would go on stage with a E3 crowd of thousands online and in the crowd and say we fell like a purple pikmin LOL but i like your choice 2

        • DingoWalley

That is true dude :) I can see that. I just think it makes more a little more sense my way XD

I’m excited for the E3 ND soooo Badly!

      • Magnus Eriksson

Courage to destroy a 100 year old company just for his own greed?

        • Danial Stukan

Just had to comment. I’ve been seeing you on every single news regarding the Wii U and most of the time i see some provocative one liners where you hope to anger some people.

Most of the people know you dont like Nintendo, yet you still continue to make senseless comments. How old are you? Btw, it’s time for you to deff.

          • Clel

He says this stuff but he’s joking. He thinks he has already established the reputation that his ‘disses’ on Nintendo are actually jokes, but people still don’t get it.
            Magnus, please confirm.

          • Danial Stukan

Boah, talk about telling the same joke 100 times, in that case.

          • Magnus Eriksson

Yes, I have to do with slow learners. Nintendo fanboys are just not the sharpest intellects. :)

          • Magnus Eriksson

            yes, its just jokes.

          • Magnus Eriksson

Im old enough to have seen Nintendo evolve from Game&Watch to WiiU.

            I love Nintendo.

          • Harley

Lets hope Wii U is not the new Virtual Boy…

(I love Nintendo by the way!) never had other brand…from NES to Wii U….

      • Soggypizza

I would have said Miyamoto was courage. Courage to take things in new directions and to completely flip the table on a project [on multiple occasions]

        Reggie as power- nuff said

and Iwata as wisdom, for sticking with Gunpei Yokoi’s philosophy of making the most of ‘old’ technologies in new ways

just my opinion though, these guys fit all the bills

      • Johny

        EXACTLY my thoughts ! …
well… miyamoto DOES show with master sword and hylian shield alot.. (so some could give him the title of “courage”) but still thats the most “logical” way of putting it :D

    • SeroReviews

I woukd put Iwata as wisdom because he always sounds and looks intelectual, and Miyamoto as courage ’cause he reminds me of Link and he is always excited, and Reggie as power for sure!

      • Magnus Eriksson

        Miyamoto – Arrogance
        Iawata – Ignorance
        Reggie – Greed

Ok, ok, Ill stop it now. :D
Miyamoto is clearly wisdom. This is the guy that invented the world. He is a kind of Nintendo god, and you would call God wise? Iawata have been taking A LOT of strange decisions this gen, but you could also call them bold and brave so Courage is of course his feature. And you just have to look at Reggie to see that this is clearly power.

        • MTGSWE

I did not make this :P
          This video approves Reggies power:

          • Madmagican

          like for you sir

    • Guest

Who’s the smart one who disliked that? XD

    • iceazeama

yeah reggie does have courage…… for pissing off people who want great franchises. rememner mother gahahahah fuck you, i have courage, fatal frame forget about it!!!!!!! 15 games later that would of made the wii not suck. to bad hahahahahah fuck you!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Potemkin

Damn! That’s a lot of hatred you have inside you haha

      • Cameron

Again, I have to say localization is not Reggie’s call, it’s the publisher’s decision. Plus Reggie actually donates a lot of money to human rights charities, and from what I’ve heard in interviews is a nice guy in reality. What exactly do you have against this guy?

    • Magnus Eriksson

Here are all the games that will be announced this year. Pikmin 3 and Luigi will come out this year, the to others in 2014. How much will those games bring up the sales of Wii U? Or is this a proof of a fail at last?

      • Nintedward

NSLU comes out in a week or two , Pikmin in July and Wonderfull 101 in August. Windwaker will be out this year also , I bet you…

One minute you’re a troll one minute you’re ok. What’s up ? low on Ritalin ?

        • Magnus Eriksson

          HAHAHA! :D

      • Nintedward

Who ever made that is a fail troll , lol xD

  • GuardiansFan

although i love the best buy idea i think its a mistake they wont have as big a presence at E3. They HAVE to annouce games with both the PS4 and the Xbox One around the corner. The Wii U’s saving grace so far however is the PS4′s and the Xbox One’s Phone Home and the Xbox One’s ridiculous used game restrictions (which should be against the law)

    • peeer

Xbox One used game restriction is kind of the tip to the iceberg tho. Imagine in like 8-10 years from the Xbox One’s launch when microsoft close all Xbox One servers. Which game will keep on working after that? xD

      http://i.imgur.com/OQzmQSa.jpg

      • GuardiansFan

i still dont get it…whatever revenues they might get from this they will lose from people who won’t buy a system at all.

        • peeer

By the way, I read that the PS4 will have that DRM thing too, just like PS3 has but never used. Except that Sony said they will leave the discretion to developpers to decide wether they want to use it or not. I don’t know how many devs will embrace it on the ps4, lets just hope not many will…

          • RockGod

Actually everything I’ve been reading (and this is made even clearer by fact that Sony has been very quiet and vague w/ their answers) seem to indicate that a PS4 may have a lot more in common with XBONE than people are gonna wanna hear and I think their scared. Both will keep relying heavily on last gen consoles and then one day you’ll hear “all support dropped for last gen consoles” out of nowhere. Why? To try to force you onto their next gens… I don’t think many are gonna go to their next gens tho… Nintendo offering much more freedom will make it the preferable console to own.

          • peeer

At least we know one fact, PS4 will not require an internet connection while the Xbox One will.

            Source:
            http://ca.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/PS4_vs._Xbox_One_vs._Wii_U_Comparison_Chart

      • Joyous Killer

More like 1 month after it launches….

      • RockGod

THIS! Why don’t I see people talking about this MORE? End of console cycle your game collection will be dumped completely, it’ll be far worse than no BC on PS4 or Xbone. Your whole collection instantly becomes unplayable, even on it’s own console. I’d never buy into something like that.

        • peeer

          Yeah,

DRM is so gonna kill gaming, its the real buyers that will be hurt the most with this. Piracy will be less problematic by the fact that all you will need is a patch to enable the game to work hassle free… The real buyer will be stuck with all the problems to deal with.

          • RockGod

The more I find out about the new consoles, the more optimistic I feel about the future of Wii U. If Nintendo is the only company that doesn’t back all this DRM crap, then they will win the next gen console wars.

          • peeer

I wouldn’t be surprised that the Wii U has the DRM system build into its own core. Just look at the PS3, they never used it on the PS3 but Sony confirmed that the PS3 is DRM-ready. I doubt Nintendo will use it, but its still a possibility that they future-proofed in that way if other devs asked for it.

I’m not much worried about the Wii U and even the PS4 I don’t think they will make it to use like Microsoft with the Xbox One. Since Sony confirmed that the PS4 will not require internet connection like the Xbox One will. All they said was that altho its not required it will be recommanded to enjoy fully the system.

          • RockGod

Nintendo won’t do it, they’ve already been pressured to and won’t. Sony is being far too quiet and their vague answers sound just like the first things MS was saying. Sony has most likely already made the decision to do it, their just not in a rush to admit it. Their gonna let everyone hate on MS until E3… then they’ll have to admit it and they won’t look any better than MS at that point.

          • peeer

Like I said, I really highly doubt Nintendo would use that DRM crap thing even if the Wii U has it. Cause if they added it to the Wii U its more than likely a pressure from other devs.

This comes back to when EA wanted Nintendo to include all of Origins platform integrality to eShop. Nintendo refused and EA has probably not released much Wii U titles so far because of that. Knowing how EA has been so DRM protectors during the last few years. I wouldn’t doubt there is some of that in the reasons for Wii U not having much EA titles. It could explain alot of things about EA supporting Xbox One as number 1 system for DLC and everything else. EA was even present at Xbox One revelation, so, I suspect something like that is at play in the background.

As for Sony, we will get more confirmations on the subject later at E3. I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS4 was like Xbox One. Even after Sony confirmed the PS4 will not required internet connection.

Knowing Sony how they have made so many errors in the past… Like killing OtherOS from the PS3 when geohot found an exploit. That was what made fail0verflow to hacking the ps3 in the first place. Also when they started suing every hackers in the world for hacking PS3. That made every hackers angry at Sony, a bunch of anonymous started to launch attacks on every Sony servers they could. Then very sensitive datas like credit card account infos from PSN servers got corrupted. Not to forget that Sony rootkit fiasco back in 2005-2007, that costed them alot of money. The list can go on and on…

        • Revolution5268
      • Nintendude

        This. 100%

    • RockGod

Dude, they have a huge presence at E3, I think only Sony booth is as big as Nintendos. The list of games Ninty has is about double MS & Sony lineups combined. I don’t think there’s much to worry about…

      • GuardiansFan

do they? They made it sound like they werent going to have a big presence….glad I either missunderstood or was missinformed.

        • RockGod

Their gonna be all up in that E3… holding NDs and press meetings and investor meetings. The games will be right there for everyone in the press to cover. They just decided to not spend the millions of dollars to have an on-stage conference, Which was really smart now that we know MS will be the only one televised by spikeTV. Sony paid to do one.. and it’s NOT being televised anyway, so why would Nintendo even want to waste the money on that?

    • CapnCrumbles436

“…It’s a mistake that they won’t have as big a presence at E3″. FALSE. Their resources are simply being allocated differently. They are putting a lot onto the convention floor, and instead of putting on a live stage performance, it will simply be a prerecorded video stream. If you think the muscle of the show is the global management team appealing to investors live on stage, your off man. Honestly there is actually only a small fraction of the gaming community that even pays attention to E3 (shocking, I know). Try going through your classroom, dorm, etc and asking those who own video game hardware if they even know what E3 is. It’s just about getting the news out there and building anticipation. Nintendo’s strategy is brilliant. Let’s watch and see what happens.

trailer and gameplay from mario kart for the wii u and the trailer of the next smash bros and the name

  • Magnus Eriksson

They will dress themselves out as all the games that will be announced this year. Iawata is dressed as Link, Reggie as Capt. Olimar and Miyamoto as Luigi. There you have it, all Nintendo games that will be announced this year…

    • uPadWatcher

      Shut up Meg.

    • RockGod

That sounds like a terrible idea man and you forgot about new 3D Mario, that will also be releasing this year… lol… why are you always trying to get people to hate on you?

  • Elvis Hayes

but not a teaser trailer for super smash bros just a regular one with the name

  • http://ejercitogeek.net/ Mercurio2054

    awesome

  • Nostalgic_Chaos

I look forward to seeing how the Smash Bros gameplay will be, and how much or how little it will change from the previous installments. I do hope that it will have online compatibility with the 3DS version, which will mean there will always be a lot more people to play with online. I also look forward to seeing what they will add in the new Mario Kart.
Interested to see Retro studios’ game as well. Lots of things to look forward to, and I hope we’ll see some release dates this year for some of the new games. Smash Bros by the looks of it wont be coming out this year, however, I’ll be happy if at least Mario Kart and a few other games make it this year. I’d be fine with that. If a great game like Smash Bros still needs a bit longer to be worked on, then I’m all for it.

    • Mason742

leave hopes and shoulds to religion.

    • Phoenix Maybe

Well I hope the gameplay for the next smash bros doesn’t change drastically from what we are used to. And by gameplay I mean like basic game mechanics such as the controls, damage percentage, etc. When it comes to new modes and stuff I’m perfectly okay with that.

      • Nostalgic_Chaos

Yeah, I do hope that the simplicity of the controls stays the same. Smash Bros has always remained a very user friendly game. It has controls that a beginner can master very quickly, while still making room for pros and veterans of the game to continue to hone their craft more and more. It will be interesting to see how they go about the gameplay format, as in, will they continue it as a 2D fighter (which I don’t doubt they will) or will they mix it up with a bit of 3D style, just to add a bit more variety, to make the experience a bit more broad. Like maybe on some of the stages, it will turn to 3D sometimes, where you can make more use of the maps, sort of like Power Stone. I’m all up for it to continue as a 2D style fighter, however, it wouldn’t hurt to see a tiny bit of 3D elements to the gameplay on at least some of the stages, and perhaps they could make more use of that in the singler player as well.

I would also like to see some online co-op. That would be insane.

        • Mc Robins

Thanks I need to find power stone for my cast of dreams

          • Gilbert Nicks

power stone 1 and 2 are great would love to see a 3 lol

        • companyoflosers

ummm ALL smash bros games have been 3d… well not 3d like a 3dtv but 3d in the way that the game runs in a 3d virtual environment engine. all character models since the first game have been 3d as well as the stages with the exception of one or two for the purpose of art style. maybe you meant more than just a fighter from a single side perspective? I dont see them ever going the rout of a fighter where they enable you to side step your way around each other or the map. as for online, they have confirmed playing between the 3ds and wii u and unless im mistaken the 3ds is capable of wifi so online matches dont seem too far a stretch. if you mean co-op as in like this new smash bros’ equivalent of a co-op sub space emissary, i see maybe a wireless system link between a 3ds in the same room as the wii u but forsomething like that, i see little point of making that co-op online. unless they devise an easy way of matching you with friends, it would be pointless to be matched with strangers. smash bros is a game to be played with friends. matches of up to four people dont seem a stretch for online but running an entire level with up to 2-4 people on four seperate devices with varying specs seems a bit out of reach if you ask me. it would be nice but still, i dont see it happening for now.

  • Mason742

second picture is old but funny

  • john

It’s amazing. Look at that van. It’s a pretty normal looking van, isn’t it. Driving down the street and looking at that van, I never would’ve guessed that it had Iwata, Reggie Fils-aime, and SHIGERU MIYAMOTO in it! Complete with some guy in a Luigi suit!

    • Mason742

It says Nintendo on the side of it. I think I could imagine it has them in it.

      • john

        *facepalms*

Guess I overlooked that little detail. Still, I have an outline of Mario on my back windshield, but you wouldn’t expect anyone from Nintendo to be in it. I’d have figured it would more likely be a fan of Nintendo than the head hanchos OF Nintendo!

        • Stuart Thomas

I wonder if Luigi rode with them. Did they stick him in the backseat or the trunk!

          • john

No, silly! He rode there in Mario Kart!

    • ChiwawaBoi

I would have totally noticed it. Reggies hyped body will send hype wave through the air, thus giving me an indicator that the whole gang is close. and if the dude in the luigi costume rode in the same truck, he was definitely in the back…

        • RockGod

I get the sense that their VERY confident that they will blow minds at E3! I’m sorry but these guys don’t seem nervous at all… gotta be a reason for that… their the best at keeping secrets, one can only imagine what they have planned.

          • ChiwawaBoi

you can easily tell my reggies body that he’s hyped.

They have a money printer. They could only possibly be worried if there was a problem with it, and that wouldn’t happen.

          • companyoflosers

if it was all about money, you wouldnt see them delaying pikmin 3 this long, theyd have pushed it out back at launch. instead they held off to polish it more.

        • CapnCrumbles436

How can you tell which one is which….?

Why nervous my friend? We already know that Nintendo has a great game line up :)
I’m more excited than anything. I don’t mean this to sound corny, but this is truly the time we as Nintendo supporters have been waiting for. It is a time of joy and excitement. It has been a hard year for Nintendo fans, but we knew that E3 would be the time when things pick up again, and now it’s finally here.

        • Stuart Thomas

True, True. I’ll retract my statement about “everybody”, but still i am nervous… and excited! I just need to wake up on Tuesday and absorb the awesomeness. There WILL be a bombshell! But what will it be….. I think retro are going to blow us away!

          • RockGod

I’m not predicting a bombshell… i’m thinking one bombshell followed by another and another and so on… There are a lot of BIG announcements that people wanna hear and we could end up getting most of them.

          • Stuart Thomas

            let tuesday roll on!

      • RockGod

Take another look at the pic… Do they look Nervous to you? They sure don’t to me…

  • 504HotBoy

I can’t wait to see what they have in store. Looking forward to seeing something on The Legend Of Zelda HD (whatever subtitle they may call it), X or Xenoblade 2 (whatever it may be called), Bayonetta 2, Retro’s game, hopefully they show several surprises that no one was expecting. Im also interested in seeing what exclusives Capcom doing for Wii U.

    • Nostalgic_Chaos

Whatever the new 3D Mario game turns out to be, I just really hope that it’s not Mario Galaxy 3. I would be extremely disappointed. Yes, yes. I know a lot of people would like a MG3, but I would rather just see a fresh, new Mario Game, perhaps something similar to Mario 64. I’m not a huge fan of the Space/Galaxy theme. Twice was okay, but a third time. Do we really need that?

I would even be okay with some sort of Mario Sunshine spin off. Just please, not another Galaxy.

      • RockGod

I honestly think this Mario will be more similar to 64 but much bigger. We’ll find out soon tho…

        • Nostalgic_Chaos

          Hoping so!

          • RockGod

One of the very few details they did slip, was that it is huge, biggest Mario game ever by far. That’s promising in itself too…

          • Nostalgic_Chaos

I so cannot wait to get lost in a Mario game in HD. It is really what we as Nintendo supporters need right now.

          • RockGod

Man I remember exploring Mario 64 for months when it released. something in that vein would make me smile big.

      • Destructonator101

        NO MORE GALAXY!!!

        YAY!!!

      • http://www.facebook.com/Fresnokila Saul Fresnokila Rivera

If they continue with their trend than it’ll be a new Mario…N64-Mario 64…GC-Super Mario Sunshine,,,Wii-Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2…Wii U-Mario something U probably ha

        • Nostalgic_Chaos

Sounds good to me my friend

      • ICHI

I’m inclined to agree with the Mario Universe rumor perhaps mixing some planetoidy gravity levels (like galaxy) in between massive worlds which play like Mario 64 levels.

        • companyoflosers

it would be a match with the whole dumb “put a big U in every game’s title” scheme of things. seriously i love nintendo but try to be a bit more creative. calling it universe would be a good few steps up from just saying mario u like the side scrolling mario they released. they wouldnt have to over-emphasize the whole “its for the wii u” thing if they just advertised the damn thing like they should.

          • ICHI

Yeah its a trend which was big with the ds too though, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow was probably the best use of it.

  • Jack5221

I feel bad for the guy in the Luigi costume, it looks hot out there!

    • Nostalgic_Chaos

      Poor guy

    • Yoshiwhirlwind

Actually usually professional mascot costumes like that have built in cooling. There could be a big fan in the nose for all we know. It does look hot though poor iwata, miyamoto, and reggie.

      • Pikachief

It was 70 degrees today, so for LA at this time of the year it was really nice outside!

  • AlThor

And so it begins…speaking of, I just set up my Wii U and it is updating….hopefully before E3 starts! lol

  • ronaldco91

The real Mario Bros. are on their way! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9aEckn4vUk

    • ChiwawaBoi

I was almost sure that this was a new mario game. just look at that shading!

  • stevieMHz

Yessss, yessss! We’ll charge them for everything! Used games, online service! Hell we’ll charge for plugging it in and turning it on! MWAHAHA!!!!!

  • Xavier Lopez Chabelo

Biggest stand of E3 history… almost 25% of all the building… Ufff

    • john

Wtf, is that for THIS YEAR’s E3? The one they were saying they were playing low?

      • Pikachief

it is! Saving money on not renting out the theater for the conference I’m sure they were able to spend a lot more on their booths! They’d better have a lot of new games to play!

      • Xavier Lopez Chabelo

Yep, I you manage to see at the right bottom, you will see an ATLUS logo, SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI X FIRE EMBLEM??? Anyone?

      • CapnCrumbles436

They are still going to have a big presence on the convention floor, showcasing their software. They are only skipping out on the stage presentation this year. Which I think is a VERY wise decision. When you couple that with their BestBuy promotional, the tone seems to be much more consumer oriented.

Its refreshing to see a company dedicated to meeting the desires of its loyal supporters, and after all, we are the ones who stabilize the company and keep them afloat; more so than the media, more so than stock investors. We are Nintendo.

        • ICHI

They’re still having a behind closed doors event for investors. Which means the time saved on all those sales figures not being in the show gives more time for new games :-)

        • companyoflosers

well the whole best buy locations thing isnt as good as they made it sound. ive looked up locations here in florida and theres only two in the entire state. id have to drive for several hours to play just the demos of these few games. im all for nintendo making the wii u well known, its a great console but they still haven’t pulled out all the stops to make it known like they are telling people online that they are. its a show for investors and 3rd party devs to increase confidence in sales, not to make it convenient for us the players or to REALLY increase awareness. theyve kinda gone about it half assed again. its a step in the right direction but its only ONE step and not an inch further.

          • CapnCrumbles436

Im sorry, I live within 25 mins of 2 locations with a third 45mins away.Even if I could not attend one I would be pleased with the gesture, and I would be happy that other people could go. I just cant help but feel that it comes off as whiny and spoiled when gamers complain about it. Sony and MS are not featuring such a promotional and Nintendo really didnt have to do this. I just think that there are other things in life worth being concerned over its just a demo, of a GAME, that will be out in months anyway.

          • companyoflosers

well good for you that you live so close to them. true nintendo didn’t have to do this but they aren’t exactly going out of their way. this is actually cheaper and more efficient than holding a big conference at E3 and that has been pointed out since they announced they wouldn’t hold a big presentation. what would be cool is if the had demo versions available on eshop that you could play through once or twice the it erases itself. that would be even cheaper AND more effective. you didn’t get at all what i was trying to say. i wasn’t complaining that i personally couldn’t go. i was making an observation about how they are trying to give the appearance of trying to increase awareness so investors and third parties will support them more, not for the consumers. i own a wii u and i think its great! i just don’t agree with their marketing campaign. there are so many ways they could increase awareness without spending a ton of money that they arent taking advantage of and i think its a shame because the wii u has the potential of winning over ps4 and xbox one this time around and i dont want to see them blow it.

        • john

Well jeez, I agree man! Especially since only Xbox will be on TV anyway. Who cares about them showing off the games if you can just play them instead! I’m sure we’ll get a lot of hands-on videos from the internet.

    • NatT96™

Holly sh&t, they went big. There not hiding from anybody.

    • JWHO

Nintendo’s presence is everything but gone in E3 i bet its gunna be packed!

    • everyone

      …what costume.

  • William Cole

They are just one heck of a legendary team.

  • Destructonator101

“Are you looking forward to E3 2013?”

The most stupid question asked in a million damn years…

  • Destructonator101

The Nintendo Triforce just want e3 to hurry up because then they can get their new money printer started…

  • Destructonator101

    Just thinking…
Does anybody remember when someone called Iwata posted a comment and there was a huge heap of comments of people thinking wether it was actually him or not?

  • barwiifan

  • stevieMHz

Yeessss! Yeessss! Give them NO consumer rights, but charge endlessly for everything!!!!!!!

  • bizzy gie

Get that Xbox achievement out of here!! :D

    • companyoflosers

lol i noticed that too! its the spirit behind it that matters, although ubisoft made a type of achievement system for wii u games, maybe they should have used that as a basic design for the joke. though i suppose people are more used to the xbox achievements. whatever works i guess.

  • Guest

well just saying goodbye guys n girls since my clock its supposed to expire tomorrow morning according to the dr so farewell and keep on gaming

    • CapnCrumbles436

  • Wanderlei

Based Nintendo the saviors of gaming.

I like how casual Miyamoto is dressed, compared to Reggie and Iwata.

  • Guest

    Shiggy?Sounds like a Shaggy…

    • Martijn Plasmans

      It wasn’t him…

  • bugart19

I would like to see some good third party support, some exciting 1st party news and hopefully maybe a new software company exclusive to Nintendo.

  • companyoflosers

anyone find it kinda creepy how specific the article is about them hanging out in the back of a black van with a cosued game character. anybody else and id have sworn they were there to abduct small children lol jk.

    • companyoflosers

      *costumed

  • Sdudyoy

E3! It randomly hit me how close it is, I was thinking it was next month or something, and then BAM all this E3 related news comes out.

  • Ernie Sanguyo

Luigi must be so hot with that costume and you know how it’s so hot now.

    • ICHI

Professional mascot costumes have fans in lol, it must still be bad but probably not as bad as I imagine.

      • Ernie Sanguyo

Yeah but I don’t think fan is enough with california weather lol. I lived in LA and I hate how it’s so hot here specially this weekends.

        • ICHI

Haha Well I would love to say it’s nice sometimes to live in the UK, But I get so sick of the rain it wouldn’t be true :)

  • Arthur Jarret

General reply to 80% of the comments below:

I find that it seems highly unfortunate that the lack of grammar invalidates many opinions in comment sections on the internet.

I have read many ill-spelled or poorly paragraphed comments that actually did show either valid complaints or good arguments – which all come across as being ill-informed or opinionated purely due to the (lack of) writing style.

Anyway, I can’t wait to see the pre-E3 direct!
I wonder what surprises the big three game companies have – I’m also anxious to get more Watch Dogs footage.

  • Sami Rautio

    These guys are great :)

  • RockGod

Wow! How awesome would it be to hang out with these three guys? Reggie is just plain cool, Iwata is so humble and honorable, and Miyamoto… like god of video games!

  • Hairee Pothead

Where is the suit and ties? Iwata has an unbuttoned collar and not dressed properly for being a professional CEO of a large company. Nintendo once had class but now they don’t and nobody takes this Company seriously anymore.

  • Baum 「ツリー」

    can’t wait until tomorrow :/

    • PS4/WiiU

lol. That is a perfect representation of what I feel

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aMVlNPjpbI The Devourer of Dimensions

Looking forward to what Nintendo will bring to the table and how they’ll try to compete with Microsoft and Sony.

  • Rinslowe

    Miyamoto is seriously the man!

  • Zombie_Andrew

Shiggy? Sounds like a hip hop artist
