    • Rick van der Linde

      Who wouldn’t anyway, it’s cheaper…
I really don’t get those digital prices, I guess it has something to do with contracts with retailers?

  • Laud

Wow Ashley, you have a bad ass last name. O.o

    • Ashley King

I take what my daddy gave me. 😛

      • Rick van der Linde

        Name your son Wrec

Why is it Ash, when I go to check your tumblr page, I just get some Asian bird with big norks?

      • Geoff Hammer

        I’ll leave that one alone…

      • Daniel Gonzalez

There’s so many ways to twist that around.

      • Derk

Why did this get vote downs???

I think you guys misunderstood this comment.

    • Ducked

Lol, I’m wondering what her coat of arms looks like

Haven’t finished Zelda since ’88. Looking forward to going through it again.

  • Edward

I got The Legend of Zelda last night. Love that game one of the first games I ever experienced. Hope to see The Adventure of Link and A Link to the Past coming out soon.

  • Ducked

I wish they made a physical copy of Pokemon Rumble U, instead of it only being on eShop.

    • TULFich

despite the taste of having brand new games in shelves, it is pretty pointless to have this one phisically, just saying

      • Ducked

Yeah, but if people see that the game only costs $20 inside stores compared to how high Skylanders and Disney Infinity is. Then there snag both the action figures and games.

        • jay

Stop. You’re making too much sense. Shame on Nintendo.

          • Ducked

            lol my bad

          • jay

Just being sarcastic, when I start making too much sense people think I’m crazy and start hating.

Like when I explain how successful 2DS will be.

          • Ducked

Yeah I know. I don’t see why some people think the 2DS will bomb. Just think, basically everyone will be able to afford a 3DS now. The design actually doesn’t look that bad, it’s just different.

          • jay

Some people think it will hurt the 3DS even though it actually IS one lol.

Nintendo is set this holiday I think their biggest mistake is not releasing a disc version of Pokemon Rumbl…..WAIT!!!

            I think I got it!!

They’re probably gonna release disc versions with figurines included!! That’ll increase the price slightly but will attract tons of people!

          • Ducked

That be a smart move. We can only cross our fingers and hope that happens.

    • Fred

When was the last time they made a disc for a game that launched at a $18 price point?

      • Ducked

        It probably be $20.

        • jay

Yeah that would have been attractive in a sea of $60 games.

          • Ducked

Sure would, well a sea of some $50 games.

          • jay

Yeah making a lot of sense. A $20 Pokemon game with Pokemon figurines would have sold consoles.

            This is sad :(

          • Ducked

A lot of consoles. They still might do this, we can only hope.

  • Fred

I’ve never played that Zelda. The oldest Zelda I ever played was A Link to the Past. Does this Zelda age well? In other words is it still a good game by todays standards (yes I realize the graphics are NES graphics but I don’t care if it’s fun then it’s fun) I’d just like to hear from someone that’s played it recently before I actually buy it.

    • Edward

I love this game. I think it’s a little outdated but it’s worth 4.99. There is plenty of secrets in it.

    • David Tims

I never played a Zelda game until last year when I picked up Ocarina of time on the 3ds. Then I immediately wanted to play them all so I picked this up on gamecube in a compilation game I found in a charity shop. Yea, it’s really really good. I actually stayed up with my covers wrapped around me staring at my crt like a kid just to keep going and beat some of the dungeons. So yes, even though it is old, I still enjoyed it I’m sure to the point of enjoyment I would have had back in them days. Here’s a tip. I actually printed out the map and instruction booklet from the original game. The map has the dungeon locations. I drew on the map things like “could be hidden item here, check with new equipment” and stuff like that. There’s necessary info in the booklet, because unlike modern days there was no tutorials and crap like that. Also, there was Nintendo power and word of mouth. So defo read it. Hope you get it and enjoy it. here’s the map I used, I filled out the blank squares too, very fun and immersive.

      • Fred

How long is it? 20 hours?

        • jay

Don’t count the hours on NES games. You could potentially be stuck in a dungeon for 20hrs.

          • Fred

I’ll suspend the game and open up the internet browser long before I hit 20 hours in a single dungeon. Thanks for the warning though.

        • David Tims

Yea what Jay said. I don’t remember but maybe it took me 20-25 hours. But again, I think it was dungeon 6 that I was stuck in for a very long time. Also there are like 2-3 heart pieces that are in ridiculous places that you literally needed Nintendo power or pure luck to get.

          • Fred

I’ll have to remember to pull out a walk through before I start dungeon 6. Heart pieces, however, don’t bother me as I never spend the time to hunt them down. I’m not a completionist guy just a go through and have fun guy.

    • jay

Keep in mind old games are harder and less forgiving than today. No obvious hints, no feeling sorry for the player.

    • Bob Wilkerson

Would definitely recommend this one… If you enjoy the series it is always nice to play the original that inspired them all.

  • Fred

Come Monday at midnight I’m hitting download for Rayman Legends!!! I’ll play it with my kids before I leave for work Tuesday morning!

  • Dell Goodman

Sadly it isn’t the Legend of Zelda I was hoping for (A Link to the Past), but I don’t recall ever completing this game. Only played mini flash web based versions, so I will grab this to actually play it. I wonder if they’d bring out the LoZ RPG style one (side scrolling combat), never got into it but I was like 14 when I played it.

  • Castamere

When does the Bit.Trip Saga sale start, because it’s still at the regular price on the 3DS eShop?

  • Jeffery Liechty

bit trip is not 5 dollars on MY eshop..

  • Javy G

What surprises me Pokemon Rumble U at $17.99! Even if it is because you need figurines, it is a newly released Wii U game.

  • andrewjcole

Really shouldn’t have gotten a darn Basic Set with all these downloads.

    • Entropyguy

I’m sure you can get yourself a massive hard drive for less than $50. Solves your storage problems right there!

  • Game Master

Your a day late Ashley King
btw, your last name sounds cool

  • Castamere

I’m still not seeing this Bit.Trip Saga sale on the 3DS.
