Scribblenauts Unmasked will feature digital comic book

Scribblenauts Unmasked will be shipping with a digital copy of a brand-new comic book featuring Maxwell, Superman, and Batman.

RatFriends

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that the physical version of Scribblenauts Unlimited for both the Wii U and the 3DS will be able to download a new comic book featuring Maxwell called “A Battle Most Bizarre”. The game will feature a digital redemption code that can be redeemed for the comic. In it, Superman finds himself in a battle with Bizarro, while Batman is fighting the Joker. Maxwell must restore the order and save the world.

A new series of screenshots and the cover for the comic book have been released, providing us a look at what to expect when the game is released on September 24th. Will you be getting it? Let us know in the comments.

I love the scribblenauts series, but I’ll be waiting on this one. There’s to many good games out, since I’m buying Super Mario 3D World, Tropical Freeze, WW HD Bundle, CoD Ghosts (only for online reasons), Watch Dogs, and Rayman Legends. That’s just for Wii U.

Yeah this fall’s release schedule is really packed. I feel like some of these games could have done better if they had tried to hit that summer release spot for people craving games and not having any.

      • Ducked

        Agreed

    • Mochlum

Yeah, I’ll probably just pass out on this until this year is over and it may be marked down. I’m a bigger Marvel fan then DC fan anyway…

      • Ducked

I’ve been a DC fan for a long time. But I haven’t been to happy with them the past 5 years. I’m pretty much neutral with both now.

    Still waiting for Unlimited…

    • Ducked

I had forgot that Europe still hasn’t gotten that :/

haha indeed very ironic the promised launch title has never been released in Europe (after the call back) and probably it won’t be released at all anymore in Europe :/ while other regions actually have the second game in the series as well. I don’t like it at all but feel more like laughing then being sad it’s the top of irony. Scribblenauts “unlimited” doesn’t understand UK English words haha so incredible ironic.

it IS coming to europe this year (don’t know the month at the moment). Wii U daily’s gotten fuckin’ slow with their “news” and it seems that it’s become a “US only” newssite -.-

        • Andreas Sunde

Nah. It’s more of a “we write what/when we feel like writing” website.

          • Baum 「ツリー」

I don’t know why I still look on this site from time to time, but I guess I’ll completely leave and stick with Nintendolife.com

          • Andreas Sunde

I guess I like the comment section, and the forums are pretty good here. But I see your point.
Why not check out Nintendo Enthusiast? Great site.

            Agree.

          • jay

That site is easy to get banned from. They also play favorites. There’s this asshole who talks down on everyone but apparently he has good relationships with the mods.

I agree on that wiiu is getting a bit slow indeed, and for the scribblenauts I hope you are right that it is coming this year, the reason why I take it with a grain of salt is because we have been promised this game since launch and in the past 3-4 months Nintendo of Europe hasn’t mentioned scribblenauts unlimited even once so that’s why I have a hard head in the game being released at all. You understand the frustration I assume as all europeans do I think.

Edit: I wrote my reply without checking your link above it seems it’s coming this December for real according official source Nintendo UK. But it’s incredible be-lated does this mean scribblenauts unmasked will hit European shores february 2015? The far to long wait has made me lose what little interest I had left in this game altogether, so I’ll most likely leave it on the shelves in store and spent the money more likely on Mario 3D world.

          • Baum 「ツリー」

It’s the same exact thing as Rayman…We gpt the game prpmised and the delay’s so long that almost nobody cpuld care about it anymore….Both games would’ve sold pretty decent back in “launch window”, I. probably would’ve bought both, but I can’t justify spending money on the games with so much titles coming in the next 4 months, that I’m interested in since their announcements and that I’m more interested in than I ever was in Unlimited or Legends :/

Just a year after it should have. I certainly hope they’re not expecting full price for it.

  • Andreas Sunde

Also, typo in the article. See if you can spot it.

    • Baum 「ツリー」

The physical copy, that is able to download stuff from the eShop? Good bye Wii U daily :D

      • Andreas Sunde

I was thinking of saying Unmasked in the title and Unlimited in the article. That makes two.

  • andrewjcole

I have Unlimited, and it’s really good, although with all the games coming out between now and next year, I may have to skip it.

  • Mochlum

Will probably be better then the Man of Steel sequel.

(Joking of course, I think MoS2 has potential because Batman is cool.)
