Take this with a grain of salt, but Cubed3 is reporting that one of its readers received an email from Nintendo’s technical staff stating that a firmware update would solve a problem the user was inquiring about. According to the member, he was seeking a resolution to the browser issue that causes it to freeze while watching a YouTube video.
The email reply stated, “tomorrow there will be a big system update for the Wii U and this should solve all problems concerning YouTube”.
This is an interesting development if true, but we’re treating it as a rumor for now as there has been no official confirmation that an update will be available tomorrow. We do know that a major system update is on the way, however.
