Nintendo has announced two new colors for the 3DS XL in Japan. These colors are orange and turquoise, both of which will have buttons and a D-Pad that match the outer shell color. These are limited edition 3DS XL colors that will retail for ¥19,900 in Japan, which is about $205 USD.
Of course Japan is always getting new colors and console bundles before the rest of the world, but given the rate at which we’ve seen Japanese 3DS XL bundles move to Europe and eventually the United States, it’s possible we could see these colors, or a similar variety elsewhere in the world.
Do you like these color combos? Would you like a Nintendo 3DS XL with colored buttons in a different color?
