Yesterday a new promotional trailer was released for the PlayStation 4 and while it does a good job at marketing Sony’s upcoming launch titles for its new console, it contained an extra tid-bit of news that we hadn’t seen before.
According to the trailer, both Assassin’s Creed 4 and Watch Dogs DLC will be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4 for a period of six months. After that, we assume it will come to other platforms such as Wii U and Xbox One. This platform exclusivity is nothing new, as it’s something Xbox gamers have enjoyed for a while now with Call of Duty DLC releases. However, it’s never been as long as a six month period.
Will this long wait for DLC make you hold off on getting the Wii U version of the game? Let us know.
