During today’s Nintendo Direct, Satoru Iwata showed off new footage of Super Mario 3D World, which is launching on November 22nd for North America. In the new trailer we see several new power up abilities in the game, including cherries that allow you to duplicate your character and control two versions of yourself.
Other notable powerups shown include the return of the Hammer Bros. suit, a bomb block, flying block, coin block, and even a Goomba suit. The game is certainly shaping up to be an interesting one. Four player co-op is shown briefly at the end, but this one looks like it’ll be fun to play even as a single player game. What do you think of the trailer? Let us know in the comments below.
