Today Warner Bros. Interactive released a brand new DLC skins pack for Batman: Arkham Origins called the New Millennium Skins Pack. The pack is available on the Nintendo eShop for $3.99 and includes the following bonus skins from multiple comic storylines:

  • Red Son Batman
  • Blackest Night Batman
  • 1st Appearance Batman
  • New 52 Graphic Batman
  • Batman: Noel
  • One Year Later Robin

If you’re interested in picking this pack up, you’ll find it available in the Nintendo eShop. It’s nice to see the Wii U version of the game included in the first round of DLC that’s released, since no season pass option was offered for Wii U owners.

    Nifty skins :3

  • abe

ERM robin. He’s not I. The Wii u version unless the crappy multiplayer was added since I stopped playing this 5 mins ago

    • uPadWatcher

Who needs multiplayer? There can only be one… and that’s the caped crusader himself, Abraham… and don’t you forget ti!

      • abe

I don’t think the robin skin can be used in single player so are we paying for something we can’t be use

  • Googs

What’s this, DLC for Wii U? I thought the devs didn’t know that Nintendo supported DLC?

    • Daniel Gonzalez

Nintendo has DLC of their own, so of course.

  • Shaun

Actually the season pass is available on Wii U. It was available on day one. I know because I purchased it on day one on the Wii U eShop.

    • JuleyJules

I did see the season pass day one but I’m not sure if its back. I hope so!!

    • YayGs

And did you get instant free access to this DLC?
I was a little upset that it was there for only a day cuz I wanted to grab it, by all well I guess, didn’t have time to look that day. Saves me $20 I suppose.

      • Shaun

I did have access to all of the skins after I purchased the season pass on day one. None of the other DLC has been released yet, so I can’t comment on that.

        • Daniel Schwarz

I got the season pass too. All I see are three new skins though. Anyone know if the Millennium Skins Pack is included in the season pass?

          • Daniel Schwarz

            Never mind, it is included.

            http://www.vg247.com/2013/10/03/batman-arkham-origins-season-pass-will-have-a-lot-of-value/

I assume if you have the season pass, your Wii U will download the Millennium Skins Pack the next time you launch the game. I’ll try it later tonight.

          • Shaun

I did notice there were 2 updates in the eShop for DLC for the game. They won’t download until you go look at the DLC for the game in the eShop. After it downloads, you have to launch the game for it to install. Also, they only download one at a time, so you’ll have to go back into the eShop and view the DLC again after the first update. It’s kind of a PITA but whatever. After all of the updates are installed, if you go back into the eShop and view the DLC and you have the season pass is should show that you have purchased the season pass and the Millennium pack (since it’s included).

          • Daniel Schwarz

Man, that is a PITA…. was wondering why I wasn’t seeing the new skins. Thanks for the info!

  • Nintendoplaystation

nice to see the wii u getting the dlc, although i do find it a bit of a rip off. dont have to buy it though but great if you want to.

    • Ducked

At least their giving the Wii U it. Since we missed out on online multiplayer

      • NkoSekirei

dude the multiplayer sucked thats wat i have been hearing lately from other consoles gamers so basicly wii u version is fine without multiplayer

        • Ducked

I know, I just hope this doesn’t happen in the future

      • Rinslowe

Trust me, Wii U isn’t missing any must have features lol, by omiting Multiplayer!

Multiplayer is the elephant in the room IMO. Tried to enjoy it, but just couldn’t.

      • ItzameyaToad

Well as long as it has local multiplayer and all the DLC then I don’t see it being a big deal. I know people like online in fighting games but it just never really appeals to me. I mean sure playing a friend or something can be fun for a bit aside from that having online seems kind of pointless. Just my 2 cent’s.

        • Ducked

That food lion has become a famous internet meme?! lol

          • ItzameyaToad

            What?

          • Ducked

It’s a food lion commerical. Every time the commercial is about to end, a lion says, “That’s just my 2 cents”.

          • ItzameyaToad

Oh haha ive never heard of the Food Lion or seen the commercials haha. Where are you from the UK?

          • Ducked

You should look it up on youtube. I’m in the US. You?

          • ItzameyaToad

Im in the US as well it just sounded like something that would come from the UK haha

          • Ducked

            Lol gotcha.

    • Rinslowe

…Sorry posted to wrong person. :)

  • RyuNoHadouken

    useless

  • bizzy gie

Glad to see DLC support. Hope it sells well.

    • kevin nun—-

DLC should come with top games not rip off games. I’m glad Warner Bros are giving Wii U DLC I really am, but I just don’t get it why would they do this to a game most Wii U owners won’t buy due to poor support. Then they will go on saying no more dlc because it sold badly. Ugh.

      • Superstick98

What? Lol. The Wii U version costs less than the other versions so it is not $60. You can buy this skin and still not be at $60. I am a Wii U owner, and I am getting this game. But I’m getting the season pass. :P

  • Josiah Parsons

    Robin!

  • Jack5221

What ever happened to the good old days, when you had to unlock stuff like skins, and other cool vanity stuff rather than pay for it?

    • Link of all time

I was just about to say the same thing, then looked down and saw your comment.

    • Ducked

Your comment is so amazing, I wish I could up vote it one thousand times!

    • ElCharlo

6 months/ 1 year later DLC: Cool more content! I love those developers…

1 month later DLC: I hate those developers, they deliberately sold an unfinished product

      • Jack5221

I’ll use Rayman Legends as an example. Fantastic game! Whats even better, is that all the extra skins (And theres a LOT of them) are unlocked by playing the game. Not paying an extra fee on top of your 60$ game. In my opinion It makes the game less fun / playable when they slap a DLC pack of extra skins. I want to earn cool stuff in my games, not buy it.

  • PS4/WiiU

When are you guys going to post the article about the Nintendo direct tomorrow.
It’s been there since morning on nintendolife.com and I thought it would just be an hour or two until you guys post it. But here we are almost 6 hours after and you guys still haven’t made an article about it

    • http://about.me/overlordror Ashley King

We posted it this morning to the 3DS section because this is a 3DS oriented Nintendo Direct.

      • PS4/WiiU

oh, never mind, sorry about that

  • Andreas Sunde

Whole game, long story, huge open city, loads and loads of work: 60 dollars. Six skins: 4 dollars.

  • blindtiger

glad we got dlc but shouldnt it be entire characters or levels?

  • Rinslowe

At least there are studios out there releasing some DLC for Wii U, not bad IMO…. (Although I’m really not a fan of DLC)
And trust me, multiplayer isn’t fun or intuitive… So another plus there too.

    Whats with Robin?

  • Donaald

As much as I loved reading Superman Red Son and the whole DC Elseworlds, I’ll be skipping this ugly looking skins for now.

  • farrellbr

    I agree with jack5221

  • Jared Garcia

the pass is back. they d to fix it so you couldnt download all the dlc at once.

  • Petri

Kinda .sad that there’s only 1 playable character for challenges with the game, rest (1 so far) with dlc.

  • TheWichi

I want the DLC of injustice we dont have two characters!!!, thats vital content not just skins!

  • C.S. Bailey

“It’s nice to see the Wii U version of the game included in the first
round of DLC that’s released, since no season pass option was offered
    for Wii U owners.”
There an option to buy it on the eShop.

  • gamesplayswill

  • Wren Justin Umlauf

This is great! I can get more suits to knock down thugs. >:)

But, I have been wondering. I asked the clerk when I picked up this game (For the Wii U, of course.) about if the game had a Season Pass. He said no. So, I recently went on the Nintendo E-Shop, just to check if I could get some suits! I saw a suit pack called, “Season Pack”. It was priced at $20.00, so I picked it up. I’m just wondering, they say that there isn’t one, but I found one! Maybe someone could explain this to me? Thanks!

  • RandroidRampage

Um…Batman: Noel is unlockable in the game, you don’t need to buy it.

  • RandroidRampage

The season pass is up on Wii U I checked it out on my wii u eshop. It’s there
