Great, Nintendo is really doing a fantastic job on advertsing the Wii U for xmas :D

If only they had been this agressive last year, i really hope this helps sell the Wii U.

How many bundles do we have to chose from now?

    • Magnus Eriksson

I dont know if the ZombiU or Nintendoland bundles still exists?

      • jjbredesen

They do, (Dei er i Brio og Ringo)

        • Magnus Eriksson

Probably some more that I forgot.

Høres ganske riktig ut, men det er fortsatt NL bundlen på websidene deira…

      • BIG Franky

they’re out there if you’re lucky enough to find the ZombiU bundle particularly… great value with an awesome game and the Pro Controller… there is one left at my local TRU…

LevelUp, The largest gaming show in Norway, said that there is one console worth to buy now and thats WiiU. Super Mario 3DWorld was more fun than all PS4 games according to one of the journalist, and that game was singlehanded enough reason to get a WiiU this generation. “-Wait with PS4, we played all those games many times the last ten years, but SM3DW was something really great”, he said. And I have to agree with him, its a fantastic game, bringing WiiU up from a not-so-interesting-level to the only choice this holiday.

      Well said Magnus-san ;)

Excellent post Magnus, thanks for bringing that up to us non-Norwegians! I absolutely agree, and can’t wait to get my hands on 3D World :)

Did you watch it? Jon Cato’s Trololol.

This seems like an odd change of tone for you. This alone shows that the Wii U has arrived.

I was never anti-Nintendo. Always loved them. But I think they have made many idiotic decisions this generation. But now they are getting there. SMB3DW is the first killer app. The next is SSBU and MarioKart8. I hope it will be enough to make it rise. I still think that SM3DW should have been here at the launch, and it was bad they didnt prioritize it earlier. But now its here, its great and it will probably flip the coin.

          We understand.

Thanks for bringing that up Magnus, absolutely agree with what that show said.

Can’t wait to get my hands on 3D World!

Oof, this doesn’t give me much time to decide. I’ve been holding out forever to get a Wii U, and I’m doubt there will be a chance for better savings any time soon. If only I had a steady income…

  • Simon Stevens

I’ve been seeing a lot of articles lately telling people to hold off on xbox one and ps4 purchases in favour of Wii U this holiday, funny how before that, it was the complete opposite lol hard to believe one game can do that, 2014 should be interesting….

    • Fred

That and people had imagined super incredible stuff for the PSONE and now that they have them they realize that while good they aren’t as good as they were hoping

It certainly isn’t worth the transition right now, other than the graphics being a tiny bit more polished, there really isn’t a big difference from this gen and last gen, nothing that justifies a purchase anyway, the thing that excited me about the Wii U wasn’t the gamepad, it wasn’t even the system it self, it was the fact that finally we had Nintendo ips in HD, finally Nintendo were more focused on gameplay with sticks and buttons being the main priority, I missed that from their games, now we are holding on to our seats waiting for the next visually stunning super mega happy fun time game, all aboard the hype train! tickets please :D

        • Fred

Oh, for me it was the Gamepad. I love off-tv play and I love Assymetric gameplay. The only Wii game where the lack of HD really bothered me was Skyward Sword. That game is the one that got me to buy component cables and it’s the game that got me wishing it was HD

Nintendo is doing a really great job at advertising. Even here in Brazil there are lots of people recommending the WiiU.
