    N64 VC games please!

    • Magnus Eriksson

and Sega, Sega Genesis, NeoGeo, C64, Amiga500, GBA, GCN, Wii (select), Saturn, Dreamcast… There you go Nintendo. Just fixed it for you. :)

      • Keyser

Select Wii games would be great! Especially the hard to find ones like Xenoblade or Fire Emblem

        • Magnus Eriksson

The two I had in mind. Plus Metroid Trilogy

          • readypembroke

forget Metroid Trilogy for Wii, hopefully Nintendo will make a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD for Wii U. It could sell some Wii Us as most people say it is one of the best games ever made.

        • Elitepwnsface

I get this feeling like they are going to have to provide xenoblade with the wii u’s X

  • Sydney Ultrasyd

Scribblenauts Unlimited, finally !!! Gonna grab this one to play it with my son

  • mrjoedawgbrother

What ever happened to Pac Man Museum, with Pac Man Battle Royale?

    • Caribbean Brony

      Don’t trust Wikipedia!

      • NintenScience

That will depend on the reliability of the information on any Wikipedia article…

  • D Moness

the eu gets so screwed over, the us got contra 3 last week and mistical ninja now, what do we get , no vc at all.

    • Rugmouse

I feel for ya, but the grass isn’t all that green on this side either.

    • Nintenjoe82

see my idea below (or above)

  • Vitor Samuel

    Rock & Pocky please!

  • Guest

Are the Pikmin DLC stages out yet? Can’t wait to try them out!

    • Yen

Yes they are and they are fantastic!

  • Rugmouse

While Mystical Ninja looks to be an interesting and enjoyable title (haven’t played it, but I’m seriously considering this one), things have to change with the Wii U VC…NOW

This one title a week being okay mentality has to stop. With such a robust backlog of amazing titles, Nintendo is just hurting themselves by not making these games available with their ‘new’ console. I’d kill to play Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Mario Kart, etc. off screen with the Gamepad, but alas – I’m sitting here pining over things that seem to be a distant dream. We need to bolster the library this holiday season, and there are plenty of NES and SNES titles (don’t get me started on the lack of N64 stuff) that could hit people right in the nostalgas.

Oh, and Club Nintendo rewards MUST be converted to Wii U VC rewards. The Wii U has been out for over a YEAR.

    • Shota

      ITS GANBARE GOEMON! :D

    • Ken Seymour

We are most likely getting shafted on N64 and Gamecube because they want to give them HD makeovers and charge us more :( I would like it more if they gave some NES and SNES classics a HD makeover like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3(VI), Dragon warrior(all of them), like they have with Ducktales…

    • Andrew W Garttmeyer

Agreed, I am really starting to become a NES hater. Honestly, how can they think this is making anyone happy? These releases make me sick.

      • Jack5221

Well, eventually they’re going to run out of bad NES / SNES games. Then they’ll HAVE to give us the good stuff!!

        • Andrew W Garttmeyer

I just want to know who is the brains behind this. ‘OK sir, we are done converting Earthbound, what game would you like us to work on next?’ ‘hmmm, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, and ‘Tennis’!.

      • Justin Parris

Its not the NES games. Its the choice of NES games. They’ve given us Balloon Fight but not Super Mario Bros. 3?

Also, why on earth did I not get to play Zelda: A Link to the Past on my Wii U before its sequel came out on 3ds?

        • readypembroke

They did have Super Mario Bros 3 for a Club Nintendo award. I got it when they had it.

          • Justin Parris

Do you mean SMB3 for the Wii VC or the Wii U VC. I’ve only ever seen Wii VC rewards in club nintendo.

          • readypembroke

Only WIi VC, Nintendo will probably keep giving out Wii VC games maybe until a year or two. SMB 3 isn’t on Wii U VC but they did announce it in August which makes me mad as I got it from CN and want to get the upgraded version.

  • Nintenjoe82

I’m about to take to Miiverse to complain about no VC EU releases this week but Nintendo have said the don’t listen to petitions.

Perhaps a mass ‘penis drawing protest’ will get their attention.

    1. Go to Miiverse
    2. Draw a penis
    3. Write short complaint.

    They can’t ban us all.

    • Wishsong214

      Actually, they can.

      • Guest

        Oh no…

      • Nintenjoe82

        and will.

    • Fred

They have also said they are doing things because of drawings on miiverse so go draw your favorite old game and write virtual console please

  • Magnus Eriksson

Great Virtual Console support Nintendo! You sure knew what to do when realizing it wasnt good enough – drop the ball. This is how you “enrich” the anger towards you. And thats just what Nintendo needs.

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/11/05/nintendo-we-would-like-to-enrich-our-virtual-console-lineup

    • NintenScience

Nintendo 64 and Nintendo GameCube video games?

      • Magnus Eriksson

Thats needed. Very much. and Sega, Sega Genesis, NeoGeo, C64, Amiga500, GBA, GCN, Wii (select), Saturn, Dreamcast.

        • NintenScience

          Yes!!!!

    • Andrew W Garttmeyer

I am astounded at the way they are handling everything. Before I just waited knowing that the games would come…now I get angrier every time I look at VC releases. NES is ‘failing’, and this is the way they support their fans…with ‘Legend of the Mystical Ninja’…for 7.99. awesome.

      • Gabe Hoffman

The problem is impatient people like you expect everything to be released right now. I don’t think VC is exactly high on their priority list at the moment. Its probably a trickle for a number of reasons

1 Wii U’s VC likely uses a different base code so they probably have to re code it probably due to the Miiverse integration

        2. If they dumped everything at once it would be a bad move

        3. They probably need to test every game to make sure it runs with no bugs

Why is Mystical Ninja a bad thing?

        • readypembroke

this isn’t NSMBU where there is ACTUAL Miiverse support. In VC games, there is not any actual Miiverse integration at all. All it is is where you press the home button and go to Miiverse to take a screenshot.

          • Gabe Hoffman

You can actually write stuff. Have you been living under a rock?

        • Andrew W Garttmeyer

How am I problem to NES? They do not like my feedback, hopes, dreams, and complaints for their system? What IS on their plate, convincing people that Wii U is not Wii… Honestly, I have been patient for a full year, I am OK, but hoped for more. They remarked how they wanted to boost their VC content, I have not seen it.

          http://twodashstash.com/2013/11/nintendo-wants-improve-virtual-console-lineup/

          1. fine, give me a schedule.
          2. never asked that, just a couple good games we are waiting on out of the 300+ they have.
          3. fine, let me know what is going on, talk to your fanbase.

After 2+ mos of mediocre VC releases, and waiting for a nice bomb to drop…mystical ninja is a bad thing because it’s not one of the 300+ of GREAT games they have.

  • Alexander Kleinwechter

Activision puts 4 dlc map packs for call of duty each 15 dollars with 4 multiplayer map and maybe some camos, nintendo put a huge DLC for 5 dollars and so much content. Corporations should learn from nintendo!

  • Nate

Mystical Ninja is a really really good game.

  • http://www.bagofgames.com/author/jennero/ Jennero Rossi

Mystical Ninja will be bought. :)

Still waiting for Korg M01D in France…

  • Wayne Beck

Heeey, after all that BS about the Wii U being the lowest selling console on Black Friday, it turns out it outsold the PS4 in the US, aka the place where Black Friday exists. Surprise.

    • Guahiatt

That would be very interesting and surprising indeed,…do you have the source?

    • Adam Porter

      source please

    • Guest

      VGchartz…

      • Wayne Beck

You say that like VGchartz isn’t notorious for under reporting Nintendo sales and Over Reporting Playstation and Xbox sales.

  • MississaugaMaverick

hey guys i have a question what happened to donkey kong country 1,2 and 3 how come you cannot download them anymore? i really would like to play them again.

  • A SNES Day Off

Jeebers… You would think that after releasing Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo could AT LEAST give us Super Mario 3 already. I’d rather see two bad VC games released than none at all – the effort is appreciated.

  • Caribbean Brony
  • Gabe Hoffman

Seriously are people really going to do nothing but whine about VC. I wish the pacing would be better too but I don’t sit around and whine about it like a spoiled kid

    • A SNES Day Off

Nintendo need to pull their finger out, and that’s just a fact. You could label someone as spoilt if they whined about ‘only’ three VC releases a week, but on too many occasions the company has gone a week without releasing even one classic game. That’s simply not good enough, and there’s no point in denying it.

      • Gabe Hoffman

Well for one thing as I have said before it probably isn’t their major focus at the moment. Right now their main priority is selling more Wii U’s probably

        • boynhisblobs

And a library of 1000’s of classic games could help push some Wii U’s. They can do it, just don’t know why they don’t.

  • Vinicius

    Lame virtual console!

  • Arthur Jarret

3DS is seeing far better releases this week – with 3D sonic and 3D altered beast – as well as bravely default in europe.

Still, the pikmin DLC is nice!

  • hahahero

I agree with those that argue the quantity of VC titles being released isn’t the main
issue (though more would always be nice). However, I’m personally tired
of seeing these weekly eshop updates to find that, yet again, there is
nothing of interest being released (this is based upon my personal
tastes and nostalgia of course). We need more truly classic titles. Why
not Contra instead of Contra III, where is Mario Bros. 3 (been waiting
forever), same with Link to the Past (which I have yet to beat!). Why
not release Tecmobowl or Bases Loaded II instead of Baseball? Where are
the classic games from the other consoles? I just wish Nintendo would focus on other titles right now and come back to the Pinballs and Donkey Kong 3s at a later time. Sorry, just venting some frustration.

  • Dominicruz

Nintendo is not releasing games because Nintendo wants everybody focus on new Super Mario 3D World and Zelda Wind waker.

  • Michael Hancock

Mystical Ninja, bitches. Y’all better recognize.

  • http://www.mpt-online.eu/ Sylux

No new releases for this week in Europe? Amfg how dare they!

  • thedeciderU

maybe nintendo releases vc games at a slow rate since they want a bigger install base so their cheaper vc games don’t directly compete with their newest wii u releases? it kind of makes sense, although it’s kind of a bummer for many.
