Early in October, Yoshida told his fans that he owned two Wii Us via his Twitter account. Apparently he had more praise for the Wii U last month as well. When asked about the Wii U’s “poor sales” by an audience member of a talk show he appeared on, Yoshida reinstated that he owned two Wii Us, but he wasn’t done there.
“The latest Mario game is really good, too. I think the Wii U is just getting started.” He said to the fan, who was probably shocked at the response his seemingly biased question received. It’s really nice to see that–in such a competitive industry–an executive can still praise the competitor’s product.
Perhaps we should ask Reggie how many Playstation Vitas he owns…
