Nintendo apparently feels like making ringing in the new year with some changes, because they’ve changed the music on the Wii U’s eShop. You can hear the music here, and compare it to the old music here.
This isn’t the first time they’ve changed the music on the Wii U eShop, they had a cheery Christmas-y tune that played during the holidays. And although that was a temporary change, they’ve had some more long lasting changes as well, throughout most of 2013, this music played on the eShop before it was changed to the tune above in late September.
A little change is always nice, and it’s good to see Nintendo keeping things fresh. We don’t know if this new music is just temporary the holiday music or if it will be a more permanent change, but it will be interesting to see.
So what do you think of this new music? Are you fond of it, or did you prefer the old music? Let us know in the comments!
