Today, Activision announced a new game for both Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS called Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. The game is a complement release for the new Transformers movie entitled Transformers: Age of Extinction that will appear in theaters this June. The game is a third-person action adventure title that will contain over over 40 playable characters from two different universes in order to secure the Dark Spark. The same will serve as a direct sequel to last year’s Transformers game, Transformers Prime.
The multiplayer mode Escalation will be returning in Dark Spark, which sees wave-based survival gameplay thrust upon up to four players who must overcome the challenges cooperatively. New defense systems and an all new roster of playable characters means there are even more ways to survive the onslaught.
