While talking about eShop games for the 3DS, the Japanese game Weapon Shop de Omasse was announced to be coming to North America and Europe on February 20. The trailer can be found above.
This game lets you see what it’s like to work a weapon shop in a fantasy RPG. Instead of going out and completing quests yourself, you will be forging the weapons for heroes that try to do so. When forging, you must tap the screen to music in order to make your sword perfect. The better you do, the more of a chance the hero buying your weapons has to succeed in their quest.
This seems like a fun perspective change of an oversaturated rhythm-based genre. Will you be joining the smithy?
