Amazon has a few deals on Wii U games

assassins-creed-4

Occasionally we like to focus on great Wii U deals for gamers who make have missed a title when it was originally released. Amazon currently has several titles on sale for Wii U, including recently released titles. If you haven’t had a chance to pick these up, now is the time. If you know of a deal we haven’t listed here, be sure and comment so others can see it.

These are for Amazon in the United States. If you’re from Europe and want to share some of the deals you find available with online retailers there, be sure and share them in the comments!

definitely pick up Wonderful 101, and assassins creed 4, great deals for those games

    • Inferno Uprising

I will also pick up wonderful 101 and probably Splinter Cell, Because I love Tom Clancy Games!!!

      • AM Real

I got Splinter Cell BL on launch day on a whim, it’s my first Tom Clancy game, and it’s pretty good. The game pad makes it super easy to use weapons and scout out areas. The only two cons for the game (and one might not even apply to you) 1) Loooonnnnggg load times and 2) no local multiplayer…oh and I guess barley anyone online to play against (but I got the game for the main campaign so what ever)

        • abe

The local mp was kinda gimpdd anyway as a second player couldn’t use a profile

      • http://ejercitogeek.net/ Mercurio2054

        so do i!!!!!!!!!

  • Andrés

The e-shop should have those prices!

    • val berger

yeah, the eshop prizing is quite horrible. even if you consider that you get a few bucks back via the premium connection, it’s just ridiculous. I just bought Donkey Kong TF for 50 bucks (which is waaaay too much for a digital download 2,5D J&R) and got premium bonus points for the price basis of 42 bucks. And 42 bucks is actually a price this game could cost. I’d really throw more money into that e-shop if they weren’t so dumb. Batman AC, a mediocre port of a game that got released at the WiiUs launch still isn’t reduced or anything on the eshop while I got it for 17bucks on retail. it’s just bullshit.

      • abe

Half the issue is retail stores they throw a hissey fit when ever an console manufacture wants to release the digital version for less. Another issue is the publishers who on the eShop set their own prices. Ubisoft are pretty good a routinely slash their prices

        • val berger

Yeah sure, still from a consumer point, it just sucks. And from a Amazon-customer’s point it’s amazing ;) I just wish it was more inviting to buy stuff on the eshop, but after Nintendo can’t even put more than 32GB into their consoles, maybe that eshop isn’t really meant to be used anyways ;)

          • Fred

2TB hard drive solved the 32GB problem for me

        • Ben Kapferer

Sony has been having some pretty good sales on PSN lately, though.

    • Fred

If they were I’d sell my W101 copy and buy it digitally. I grabbed it back in January for $30, but I’d love to have a digital copy instead.

  • Donaald

I must insist to everyone to consider Monster Hunter, the game is near perfect.

    • LemuelColon

I’m with you, I recommend the game. People should try MH3U, you wouldn’t regret!

      • http://www.mpt-online.eu/ Sylux

I agree with both of you and recommend it as well. Still the most played game on my WiiU and the most played Online WiiU game for the time being. Hard learning Curve but worth the money 200% It’ll easily keep you busy for hundreds and hundreds of hours.

      • val berger

Never wanted to get into that game as I know it will eat up all my sparetime :) I’m sure it’s good, but time consuming as well.

    • Saul Rivera

Yeah no matter how many Wii U games I buy…I end up back to playing MH3U

    • Yousif Alromaithi

I would recommend wonderful 101. Game is freaking awesome.

      • val berger

Yeah, underrated and underhyped, it’s the natural evolution of Viewtiful Joe with some little flaws that don’t weight as much as some reviewers claim. Very charming game with EPICNESS written all over it, especially those Bossfights.

        • Yousif Alromaithi

Great boss fights, definitely best fights on 2013 for sure.

        • Fred

The demo doesn’t do the game justice. I’m certain you’ll enjoy the game MUCh MORE than you enjoyed the demo. That’s how it worked for me. I tried the demo and then almost didn’t buy the game because of it.Luckily I decided to buy it anyway as it’s super fun

          • val berger

No need tellin me as I’m already a believer :)

      • Fred

        AGREED!

    • C.S. Bailey

Will a newbie to the series really enjoy it? I tried the demos, and they were okay, but I really didn’t get chance to dig into them. I’ve been playing RPG’s since FF on the NES, so that should tell you that I don”t mind grinding.

      • val berger

I don’t know the game but the demo is said to be quite bad, so if you think they were OK, you’re gonna love the game.

      • LyonKS555

I was a newbie to the series when I tried out Tri and look at me now. Got the game on both 3DS and Wii U with a strong urge to continue playing even after 500+ hours of play.

      • steve

a buddy and i bought it because there was not much else to play on the wii u last year, im actually playing it rght now(taking a quick internetbreak) its the first i played and easily the best coop game ever, its a shame more dont play it in america.

      • Donaald

It really depends on what kind of games you’re into, this is for people who enjoy Roleplaying with some hack’n slash instead of being turn-based.

    • K_Locker

I bought this game the other day, I want to love it like everyone ever does but it got so frustrating. All I did for hours was collect stuff and wade though endless text boxes which I got sick of reading and so no longer knew what I was doing. I just want to fight a monster, is that really so much to ask?

      • Donaald

Then go to the guild for some monster-killing missions, genius.

  • Zuxs13

Has anyone played AC IV on Wii U? Is it any good, i gave up on AC III but still wan to go back to it. Its a good price fo AC IV.

I already have all the rest except wonderfull 101.

    • LemuelColon

Wonderful 101 is a good game, I have it.

    • BIG Franky

I actually own AC4 on PS4 and have played it on Wii U also… it is very good and VERY close to the PS4 version… its a great game and definitely worth picking up on Wii U. Also, TW101 is probably the 2nd or 3rd best game available on Wii U, so get that one as well…

      • Zuxs13

Thanks I might pick up AC4. I wasn’t into wonderful 101 the demo wasn’t that much fun I’m not into games like that one.

        • Jewelarchon

The demo was not very representative of the full game. It was much better in the full version!

    • DC777

AC4 is great on Wii U and easily it’s best looking 3rd party game.

    • Quicksilver88

AC4 is really Ubis best technical effort on WiiU. The game looks super, framerate is solid, load times are quick and the online functions well. The gamepad second screen is minimal but the mapp is very useul in an open world collector like this and its nice you can move HUD items to gamepad to free main screen. It gives me hope they can do a solid Watchdogs on WiiU if it really makes it.

    • abe

No DLC (but that’s largely poo) I enjoyed the Wii u version. The bug map is fantastic for sailing the ocean. If you don’t like navel battles don’t get it though

  • Goku123

Super Mario 3D world on amazon is $51.95
Lego City Undercover on amazon is $39.99
    WindWaker HD is $45.71

Also I bought Mass Effect 3 a few days ago for $10

  • http://www.mpt-online.eu/ Sylux

Here’s some Wii U deals for Europe, they came from Amazon.de.

    • Batman: Armored Edition € 16,78
    • Mario and Sonic winter olympics € 32,95
    • Injustice; Gods among Us € 19,63
    • Assasin’s Creed 3 € 23,74
    • Sonic Lost world; deadly six edition € 29,97
    • Batman; Arkham Origins € 29,99
    • Splinter cell: Blacklist € 22,00
    • Scribblenauts Unlimited € 31,97

All price are without tax/vat. Most items have free shipping available across most of Europe. Perhaps some interesting deals for our fellow European WiiU owners? (myself included)

That’s it folks, some deals I found on Amazon Europe, same deals available on amazon.co.uk and amazon.fr whether you order at uk site or french site or the german site, items will be shipped from the closest available amazon. Personally I order from amazon.co.uk easier to read for me, but almost always items are shipped from amazon.de as I live in the Netherlands.

  • http://nintendopapercraftvideos.wordpress.com/ Sam

Nothing I want. Good deals though.

  • Blue Hernandez

Was Resident Evil: Revelations any good?

    • steveb944

It was great. And you had a lot of post story play time. I started the game on 3DS, but immediately sold it to get my Wii U copy, no regrets. I think I want to get back into it and play again now, thanks.

    • DC777

      Best RE in awhile yep.

    • Con

Its ok. But honestly the res are getting pretty stale. Zombies aren’t even zombies anymore, and the AI in this game is fucking horrible.

    • Ricky__Spanish

Only good when compared to how terrible RE6 was

  • steveb944

I own and recommend all these titles, except for Zombi U which I tried but didn’t interest me. I just started Splinter Cell and being full ghost is pretty difficult but rewarding at the same time.

  • Captinn2

Buy The Wonderful 101, great for hardcore gamers. The game is wonderfully hard and the humor and cheesy one-liners are top-notch. I really insist on getting this game. Never had so much damn fun in years.

    • Dylan Clark

please dont listen to W101 fans they will do anything to get this shitty game sold. its terrible and the sales reflect it (i bought the game and i sold it the next day)

      • Captinn2

Oh shut up, this game is great. You don’t like it because either you suck at the game or don’t have a sense of humor.

        • classicgamer20

Well if it makes you feel any better I thought the game was a. mazing. The whole time I was playing it I felt like someone had injected a needle full of nostalgia in me because it reminded me a lot of power rangers.

        • abe

The game “suffers” from what people praise dark souls for. Limited tutorials and trail and error boss fights but because it doesn’t look like an “hardcore” title it looses points for what dark souls earns

          • Captinn2

Well, they ARE Platinum Games, and we all know what they’re known for. :3

          • Fred

but if you really want tutorials or how tos go to the internet. nobody can really complain in this day and age when a game doesn’t hold your hand because if that’s what you want go to the internet and someone has done it for you.

      • val berger

it’s like someone who doesn’t like strategy games crying over a strategy game he doesn’t like. If you aren’t into platinum games, then this games just not for you. doesn’t change the fact, that everyone who liked viewtiful joe might like this game as well.
For your info: Platinum games often aren’t those huge commercial successes, we know from AAA Blockbustergames, but still they are very unique in terms of gamedesign, creativity, boss battles and the whole action-mechanic. And W101 makes no exception here despite a few flaws with it’s main control scheme which isn’t as bad after all.

      • Fred

REally?!? What was it you didn’t like about it? I own it and love it, but I’m curious to hear what it is you don’t like about it.

      • andrewjcole

Anyone who sells a game the day after they bought it didn’t play it enough.

  • rp17

What about Wii U Pro Controllers? Anyone know any sales on those? I really need some more before MK8 and Smash come out!

    • Superstick98

Exactly! I can only hope somebody has a deal! But the only thing I can really see getting lower priced Pro Controllers is Amazon. :O

      • Blue Hernandez

Best Buy has them for $40.

    • Tatawy13

I know that Kmart has the black ones on sale for $39.99. It is the same price on their website and in store.

    • steve

oh im buying a case of beer, a few pro controllers, and pizzas for smashs release night

    • Carl Fin

I bought an awesome one made by nyko. Probably like $15 and is solid, feels good and works perfect.

    • Blue Hernandez

Best Buy has some for $40. I just picked one up yesterday with SM3DW, which I had price matched with Amazon LOL.

  • Superstick98

8 games on your shelf for less than $200 is a freaking STEAL. 3 normal full priced games alone is $160! O_O

  • Madmagican

I definitely recommend picking up The Wonderful 101 and MH3U while they’re on sale here, they’re both awesome games

  • Ricky__Spanish

ZombiU for $20 is a steal. Buy it

  • Fishy

zombiu cannot recommend enough. not a perfect game, nevertheless stands as wii u’s most interesting and creative title, and also it’s only truly hardcore mature title. really not to be missed.

    • Vile-Okami

Wonderful 101 isn’t interesting and creative?

      • Fishy

It is definitely both interesting and creative – it’s a great game. MH3U is also a terrific hardcore game in terms of its mechanics. But neither of them are mature. ZombiU is hardcore, mature AND creative in its use of the gamepad, not to mention it OOZES atmosphere and psychological suspense. Wonderful 101 is a game – ZombiU is an EXPERIENCE. Different strokes for different folks, but for my money it’s overall the most interesting WiiU title.

  • RecheDiazrivarola

pick up the wonderful 101 and splinter cell.
i got resident evil and monster hunter on 3ds

  • Lophs

Mass Effect 3 is the boss.

    • abe

I’d kill for a Wii u trilogy. Seriously if some one has the power to make it happen.please point at someone you don’t like

    • Carl Fin

I love my U but didn’t you find Mass effect 3 to be horribly jumpy? I’m curious because maybe it’s my disc?

      • Lophs

Yeah sometimes the frame rates are unacceptable. However, it is still Mass Effect 3.

  • disqus_1S1GyNUnq5

i played monster hunter 3 on the wii u vor 2-3 hours then i got bored beyond belief. i also bought the 3ds version with the same effect. after having seen how they solved the crossplay the game itself offered no incentive for me to play further. no loss there.

the rest of the titles is also very, very meh. could not recommend one title there due to either being way too old or so not worth the money. either because there are superior versions on other consoles or watered down garbage.

stay away, by all means. go to a restaurant and get a good meal instead. you will have way more fun, i promise.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheMwgly Mwgly

Thats how reviews work these days. Some douche is like “i dont like these games, so dont buy them”, and all the sheople do as he says. And then everyone is like “oh meeh, there are no games for my nintendo, nintendo sucks balls, i go buy ps4, because they have like 3 fps.”

      • steve

        agreed

      • Carl Fin

Agreed. I’m not a big monster huntererer, but the Wii U still has more than enough for me. I work full time and have a family. I have Mario U, Luigi U, Rayman Legends, and want to buy wonderful 101 and AC4. The Wii U is so much better than my ps3 ever was.

    • Fishy

if you only played MH3U for 2-3 hours you have no idea what you’re talking about and didn’t get anywhere close to the best parts of the game, which is notorious for having a slow start as you learn the various systems, all of which are rather deep. you fail.

  • Kidvizious

I want a deal on Ducktales Remastered! Lol, that would be great. I really like platformers and it looks pretty fun.

    • Jaymes Deen

You shoulda taken advantage of the ECards that BB had a couple of weeks ago. Thats would have helped you save some cash.

  • David Trail

I recommend Wonderful 101 and Zombi U. Blacklist is also very good on the Wii U.

  • Carl Fin

Nyko pro commander for Wii U is $21.00 right now on amazon. Pick one up. It’s an amazing controller.

  • Fred

Newegg has a great deal on a new Wii U console comes with skylanders AND Disney Infinity for $275

  • andrewjcole

You guys should do a big Amazon roundup for USA, Canada (Yes, we have different websites) and Europe.

  • andrewjcole

I posted some Canada deals and it was marked as spam, yet other people have and is wan’t…
