Developer Voofoo have put the finishing touches on Pure Chess for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS after being delayed last year. The game is set to launch on March 20 for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The neat thing about this release is that it utilizes cross-platform play, so you’ll be able to play with anyone who owns the game on their iPad, iPhone, iPod, or Android device. It’s also the primary cause of the initial delay, as the development team underestimated how long it would take to get cross-platform play functioning correctly.
You’ll be able to pick up the game for £4.99 / €5.99 / $7.99 when it releases. Check out the trailer above to see some of the gorgeous chess sets that await your masterful mind!
