sea-green-2ds

Nintendo is releasing a sea green Nintendo 2DS on June 6 to coincide with the release of Tomodachi Life in the United States. The unit will retail for $130 and it is not included in any bundle, so if you like the color and you want Tomodachi Life, you’ll have to buy them separately. The new color was previously revealed on the Tomodachi Life website, where it was hidden within the code.

Will you be picking up this new color of 2DS in order to play the game?

Looks like the Kurt Cobain telecaster colors. I’d buy it if I was in the market for a 2DS.

I like it I may need to buy it

I need a fully white 3DSXL, but until that happens I’m sticking with my red 3DS

I would swap my blue 3DS XL for the whiteone also. Had white DSi.

I recently purchased the Yoshi Edition XL and I love that the inside of it is all white.

Why would someone even bother with this when the 3DS and 3DSXL are so much better? I guess the inexpensive shopper can give in.

      For children and higher durability?

      • steveb944

Yeah I guess. But it’s still the same materials. The only thing different would be the hinge, but if it does break it’s still playable. And the screen is in more jeopardy in the 2DS.

        • Madmagican

Trust me, that hinge is the weak point for any kid
I know people with top screens just hanging off precariously

I have a 2DS and I think it’s great! It’s comfortable in the hands, and it’s a low cost. Got mine for $99 which is half the price of the xl

I actually like the colour. Shame it’s not bundled with the game.

  • Ducked

I like the design, better than my red 2ds
