Tengami has been available for some time on iOS, though its promised Wii U version was delayed so the team could focus on the release of the iOS version. Developer Nyamyam have been working diligently to get the game ready to go for Wii U owners, with the game finally being feature complete as announced by the studio’s blog.
The version is finished (yay!!!) and we are preparing to go into Lotcheck, Nintendo’s certification process that is required for all games before they are allowed to go on sale. Before that can happen we have to get age ratings for Tengami though. The game is with the various rating organizations around the globe and it is really just a matter of waiting now. The process can take up 3 weeks and there is unfortunately not much we can do to speed it up.
The original release date for the game was to be in June, but with the game going into certification and getting its age ratings at the beginning of July, it could be late July or August before we see the Wii U version. A PC version is scheduled to be released in August as well. If you’re unfamiliar with the puzzle platformer, be sure and check out the most recent trailer, below.
