Another Hyrule Warriors stream planned this Thursday

hyrule_warriors_moon

Nintendo has announced that it will be hosting another Hyrule Warriors livestream on August 14, via Japanese streaming site NicoNico. This is the second livestream event for the game Nintendo has announced, offering more game footage and a few areas that haven’t been seen before. In addition, Hyrule Warriors developers Yosuke Hayashi and Furusawa Masaki will be on hand during the stream. Shigeru Miyamoto was in attendance for the last livestream, but we’re not sure whether or not he’ll make an appearance during this stream.

While this stream is geared for Japanese audiences since the game releases this month in Japan, it does provide a look many of the new environments revealed over the last month in Famitsu, so tune in if you want to see some of the more familiar locations of Hyrule brought to life inside the game. Stream times are as follows:

  • USA PST: 5am
  • USA EST: 8am
  • UK: 1pm
  • EUR: 2pm
  • JAP: 9pm

Am I the only one whose getting tired of seeing this game now?

    • matthew garcia

Nintendo doesn’t have a lot of games coming out so they have to focus on there 1st party games. Since there 1st party games are months apart they have no choice but to throw all there focus into one game. They did it with Mario kart, smash bros, and now hyrule warriors. Expect to see something new on this game everyday til it releases

Hey everyone tries to put a label on somebody. We’re all use to it by now with this whole internet lifestyle. Oh well lol

    • Merry_Blind

Can’t blame Nintendo. I’m pretty sure they’ve been overboard with ‘showing games and sharing details about them’ recently because many people complained about them NOT doing that with the Wii U and in general.

Well good job impatient whiners, now we’re having games spoiled for us before it’s even released since we know everything about them before even playing them.

      • chaddington

you could just not be on video game news sites all day

I’m also getting a bit tired. I know this is the first time Tecmo Koei (or however that’s spelled) has teamed up with Nintendo with one of their biggest IPs but aren’t these Dynasty Warrior-like games boring? I don’t know much about the main Dynasty Warriors games, but I recently read a review for One Piece: Pirate Warriors (another DW spin-off game), and the author of that review tended to use words such as dull, repetitive, and lackluster to describe the game. That’s not a good sign. You could say that Nintendo will make sure they Tecmo doesn’t do the same thing for HW, but as far as the current gameplay (and Tecmo’s track record) show, Tecmo likes to stick with the same formula time and time again.

      • Asura

It’s not the first time Tecmo Koei – or at least one of their subsidiaries – has teamed up with Nintendo. Remember Metroid: Other M?

        • Phoenix Maybe

They were behind that? I think my faith in HW dropped about 25% after hearing that.

          • Asura

Most of Other M‘s flaws can be traced to Sakamoto micromanaging its development. Team Ninja had to beg him not to make it a rail shooter, and tried – and failed – to persuade him to implement the nunchuck along with the remote.

          • Phoenix Maybe

Oh… guess I shouldn’t be so quick to blame. Thanks for the clarification.

  • Merry_Blind

This is getting out of hand!

While this certainly isn’t a bad thing, I think Nintendo needs to realize that there’s a big difference between advertising/marketing, and showing more game stream to those who are already interested in the game (also being cheap for Nintendo to show). I think at this point in the game we should be seeing more TV ads and less “online streaming,” AKA showing more info to those who already plan on purchasing the game.

    • Thomas Vienna

That’s true, but the primary demographic of this game are indeed those who are already interested, just because it is a Zelda/Dynasty mash-up. Nintendo is just trying to build up the hype, and I’m sure we’ll see commercials soon.

    Even against all odds …..
    Announce Groose for Hyrule Warriors.

Give him the Biggoron Knife (if Darunia doesn’t get it), Whip and the Scarab as weapons and I’m sold.

      • Toledo Jones

        Giant’s Knife, Biggoron’s Sword, Beetle.

Unfortunately leaks from Japan have already shown the character screen. What they’ve announced is what we’ve got.

  • Ian Settlemyer

How’bout a playable guest character, like Marth, Pit, Isaac, or Shulk.

    • Epicstuf

This is a ZELDA spin off, not a crossover. If you are looking for those characters, go to SSB4.

  • Epicstuf

    We need puzzle elements!

    • matthew garcia

That’s exactly what I was hoping for.
