Master the demon sword with Ghirahim in Hyrule Warriors [VIDEO]

Despite Hyrule Warriors now being available in Japan, Koei Tecmo have continued to release character trailers for the game. This newest trailer accompanies the Zant trailer we saw yesterday and once again focuses on playable villains, this time Ghirahim. Ghirahim will use his demon sword in battle, making for several devastating attacks should players choose to use him during their fight.

Hyrule Warriors releases on September 26 for the rest of the world.

I feel like Nintendo has revealed more information about this game, than any other Nintendo game I can think about in the past 2-3 years.

All thanks to Koei Tecmo for promoting Hyrule Warriors in their country and outside of Japan (Nintendo co-publishes HW in North America and Europe/UK).

Like that’s going to do WiiU any wonders. This will NEVER lead to better support from thirds. No matter HOW the game does, there is NO HOPE for third party support EVER getting better on WiiU. None.

Can someone answer a few questions about this game? Is there a story line to go with this game? Do you unlock characters as the game progress? Is there a reason why we can play as Ganon or Ghiariam like is there some bigger villian at the end Nintendo is not showing? Or is this game is just going around slashing enemies? I never played Dynasty Warriors before so I am not sure what to expect

    hi

Game is pretty awesome. Played it for 9 hours . It is a lot different than I expected. It is not just a warriors game. I need to do lots of rolling and z targeting. Area bosses block and the missions require a lot of time management. It is a pretty good story too. Really like the art in the cut scenes and the story elements.
There is no pop in. Sometimes there are over one hundred enemies on the screen. Fighting other characters on normal is a lot harder than a standard warriors game. Looks really nice. High res and fast frame rate

I havent tried hard yet, I failed a few missions because of bad time management.

I hope that if this game sells well in Japan, they take this new direction in marketing and apply to all their first and second party titles elsewhere as well. Mario Kart 8 was advertised quite successfully too. And Smash is perhaps a little saturated, depending on how big of a fan you are…
And I think this is all enough exposure for Europe and North America for HW also. But Bayo 2 should get some of the treatment as well.
Ah, I just can’t wait for Xenoblade and Zelda. Totally unrelated point…

    • ben

Unfortunately the marketing in Japan was done all by Koi Tecmo….

      • Rinslowe

Yeah I realise that, to a degree any way. Of course Nintendo’s employees have done their part on various occasions including both Anouma and Miyamoto. But sure. It’s all part of what makes it work, though isn’t it. And especially western dev’s should take note.

Well..I think Nintendo need to get promoting Bayonetta in Japan.> Ive seen one article in a month. The game is out in 4 weeks.

The need to do a direct, not just focusing on Bayonetta they need to drop some new release bombs. And the big one the release date for Smash for wii u.

          • Rinslowe

            I agree.

  • SuperSonicBrawler

Now if we could just get him into smash…
