Last week’s presentation at E3 left a lot to be desired from Nintendo, but at least they announced that the new Fatal Frame game released as Fatal Frame: The Black-haired Shrine Maiden in Japan is coming to the United States. The kicker here is that it may be an eShop exclusive title.
Now that E3 is out of the way, Nintendo has updated their website showcasing all the new content that’s on its way for the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. The page for Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water got the same treatment, only instead of releasing any sort of box art for the game, an eShop symbol was put in its place. It’s likely that Nintendo believes the Fatal Frame series is niche enough not to warrant a boxed copy, so it’ll be digital only.
If that turns out to be the case, will you still be interested in the new Fatal Frame game?
