Devil’s Third has been making waves in the news, as the game is launching in Japan shortly and will be brought to North America later this year. Early previews of the game weren’t kind, but the game’s creator Tomonobu Itagaki quickly took to Facebook in order to defend the game.
More details have been released about the game, including the fact that the PC will receive a free-to-play multiplayer version of the game that won’t be cross-platform compatible with Wii U players. Along with that news earlier this week came information gleaned from the Japanese Devil’s Third website, where it was revealed that the game will feature some form of microtransactions as well.
Regardless of all this, Tomonobu Itagaki is highly thrilled to finally have the game ready for players, as you can see in the interview where he discusses the world of the game, as well as the solo and multi-player aspects. Whether you’ll be picking this up or not, it’s hard to deny that Itagaki is passionate about his creation.
