Splatoon has been a runaway success for Nintendo in Japan, where it still has a top spot in the charts more than two months after release. Thanks to that success, we’ve learned from Famitsu that Japan is getting a soundtrack release for the game on October 21.
Aptly named “Splatune”, the soundtrack will feature 61 tracks. 37 will be music tracks, 14 sound effects tracks, and 10 jingle tracks. Alongside the soundtrack will be a booklet that features commentary from the staff and additional reversible covers for the soundtrack.
It’s probably unlikely this will be released in the rest of the world as a general item you can buy, so you’ll likely have to import it should you want to be able to listen to Splatoon’s crazy music while you’re away from the game.
