We’ve previously seen Super Mario rendered in the powerful Unreal Engine 4, and now it’s Samus Aran’s turn. The Metroid protagonist was recreated in Unreal Engine 4 in this gorgeous temple level by user CryZENx, who previously did Pokemon and Sonic in Unreal Engine 4 as well.
The lighting and reflections in the Metroid version look particularly great, and it seems that this sort of realistic style would be more suited for a Metroid game rather than Super Mario.
Be sure to also check out the Super Mario Unreal Engine 4 demo as well.
