Assault Android Cactus was first announced for Wii U way back in 2013 with a release date set for some time in 2014. The game was delayed and scheduled to release this year, but now it looks like developers Witch Beam won’t be meeting that goal either. The game is releasing on PC on September 23, but Wii U fans will have to wait until 2016.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it features a cast of all-female androids sent to investigate a distress beacon from a lost ship in space. Players have to use each character’s unique primary and secondary abilities to defeat massive hordes of enemies. The game starts with your choice of four playable characters and as you progress through the story, you’ll unlock five more heroines.
