Well, it didn’t take long for someone to discover an invincibility glitch that can be replicated in Super Mario Maker. The video above does a good job of explaining how the glitch works, but if you’re at work or school and can’t watch right now, here’s the basics of it.
Placing a door on a set of spikes while Mario has a power-up other than just a mushroom will cause Mario to take no damage at all when he emerges from the door, as long as you entered the first door during the limited period if invulnerability that happens after Mario takes damage.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Nintendo releases a patch for this particular glitch, as this bug can be fully replicated every time.
