While Keiji Inafune’s first Kickstarter project has received a lot of backlash for being late from the initial deadline and pushed back several times now, both Comcept and publisher Deep Silver have both confirmed that the digital and physical release of the game will occur at the same time. This is good news for collectors who like to have physical copies of the games they play, while everyone else has been waiting nearly a year longer than expected for this release.
The game will be launching on all major console and PC platforms on February 9th in North America, while the rest of the world will get the game on February 12. If you were looking forward to playing the game on a handheld like the Nintendo 3DS or the PS Vita, you’ll have to wait a bit longer as those versions are set to launch at a later date.
