No matter how you feel about the return of Guitar Hero as a series, Activision wants to make Guitar Hero Live a success. To help that along, the most recent commercial for the game features two big stars going head-to-head. Lenny Kravitz and James Franco heckle one another for their poor performance in the game, which makes up the bulk of the commercial.
In fact, there’s not a lot of advertising here that showcases exactly what the game is about. Instead, the commercial focuses on the illusion that becoming good at Guitar Hero Live will actually make you a rockstar like Lenny Kravitz.
The game hits stores on October 20th and you’ll need to buy all new peripherals in order to play.
